  1. Peace, Welcome to Rachelville! Just add your preferred job to your sig (if you want) and it's yours. I'm not keeping the official list anymore since it takes up sooooo much space.
  2. I can't believe the cost difference on this stuff!!! And waiting until Monday. I'll be curious as to what the pharmacist says.....if anything. Maybe you can go enjoy your movie after all.
  3. Sandy, I'm sorry about the loss of your MIL. That's got to be tough dealing with that on top of the "outgrow celiac" and Kathryn. I hope you can get in to see the ped. soon and get some testing to get things ruled in or out. HUGS.
  4. I'm sorry Rachel. Do you have any thoughts on when you'll start Nystatin if you come in early Sunday? I'm going to really be working on being a good girl and severly limiting my time on here. I'll always be popping on to read though. Got a lot of things to try and get done today before Sabbath starts. Claire, To do multiple quotes...
  5. I haven't used the garfava flour. You can use any combo of gluten free flours.
  6. I've made this a couple times vegan. I think I need to bake it a little more as it is a little gummy but my children love it and so do I. I've been using Annalise Roberts bread mix (1 cup) and her muffin mix (1/2 cup). I think next time I'll stick totally with the bread mix and see if that makes a difference. I also used 3 egg equivalent for ener...
  7. I loved to read to. I just figured children today were more into games/tv. I don't remember if I read that much at 10 though. I know I'd read for a couple hours easily, just don't know about 4 hours.
  8. Sounds like someone having fun or giving you a different gift. And I want to thank you for always responding to everyone. I'm cutting back my time on here again and appreciate your thoughtfulness. I would think that a teacher would suspect 200-300 minutes. I don't know any children that will sit down for that long on a school night and...
  9. I'm not IgE allergic to wheat but I am IgG delayed allergic.
  10. We got a couple inches down here (north of vancouver). Supposed to be one icy mess tomorrow morning. Poor dh can't get out of work....he's a local truck driver. He'll be allowing twice the normal amount of time to get where he needs to go.
  11. This was accidentally reported by juliebove.
  12. Keep me posted if you will. You can pm or email me if you want. I wish I had some clue as to helping you with this. Having little or no energy certainly doesn't help as it gets completely drained trying to deal with situations like this.
  13. We switched to pear juice for the children since we went off of all milks. Have to agree about the milk quote I left up. I was thinking the same thing. Thanks Rachel for clearing that up. I'd be livid with that child! Don't know what I'd do to make his life more miserable but I'm sure you'll think of something. ...
  14. How frustrating Carla.
  15. Thanks Tanya. Glad she's doing well and hope the percentage continues to drop. I'm thankful you have a lot of support. I can't imagine going through something like that alone either.
  16. Donna, Glad you're feeling better. NoGluGirl, If I'm reading correctly from what Rachel posted (and she'll correct me if I'm wrong ), once the gluten intolerance is tipped it seems to stick around.
  17. That's nice that someone(s) filled her in and she wasn't wearing perfume. I'll pass on your thoughts to Julie. Have fun at the movies Friday night. I'm so tired. Seth hasn't been sleeping well lately and I haven't got my 4 hour stretch of sleep. Must go to bed earlier.
  18. Donna, Hope you feel better in the morning. Rachel, It's nice that you have a doctor that you can talk to (or should I say two? ) and one that will listen. Are you going to wait until this weekend to start the Nystatin? The boring as well as the exciting treatments are getting you on the road to health....but I'm sure you know...
  19. Carla, Glad you are over the worst of your herx.....at least it sounds like it. Does herxing go in cycles too? How nice to have Adam home even though he's working. Your appointment is only 1 1/2 weeks away!
  20. Thanks for the post Rachel. I think we are generally low risk for candida, although I was on bc for 9 years and did use a lot of amoxicillan for a year or two for sinus infections (probably about 12 years ago). Other than that I wasn't on a lot of meds when I was younger and since then I've been on something for a couple sinus infections once a year...
  21. I'm curious as to what that would mean with a family like mine who has intolerances but they aren't bad and don't bring us down like they do you guys. I didn't get tested for candida, although I could have with US Biotek. I know the children got mercury from me and between my mercury and the mercury Talitha got in her shots I could assume that is what has...
  22. Rachel, I didn't read everything you posted of that article. Did read everything you wrote though. I don't have any answers. Probably more questions. Claire, Check out Open Original Shared Link He has an article title the Answer with another section in that called "why is the plane of this nations health in a death spiral" ...
  23. Why do I think you like cheese and mayo?
  24. My little one can tolerate rice in all forms. He's even tried gluten-free oats and that seemed to be ok with him. He only has that about once a week though. He seems to have more intolerances already than my other two did. He's 13 months.
  25. Mia, So good to see you!! Missed you posting. Carla, I hope this herx runs it's cycle quickly. Have you backed off on the stuff you were taking? Peace, You too. Donna, I don't know what to think about your throat.
