  4. I'd be fuming to. I agree, don't let this nasty lab coat brutalize your arm again.
  5. Thank you Armetta for the update on Karen. I do hope they can find something out with the biopsies.
  6. I hear you. I just hope that I don't get pages behind when I really have to do something. It usually takes me 1/2 hour to an hour to catch up in the morning and I try to be on consistently at night after the kids are in bed....by then it's usually calmed down.
  7. Yes, I too agree that is interesting. Hopefully other parents will read this and keep it in mind if they have younger ones that want to buck thy gluten free diet when they are older.
  8. Susan, Despite having to extensively clean and the poor depressed puppies.....I hope you have a good time with your guests. If you haven't read OMG, hop on over for my response on your neice. I make him clean up the mess. Doesn't sound like fun at all.

  11. I have copied over articles from mercola.com. He is not the only one who references these articles though. One of them is Newest Research on Why We Should Avoid Soy. Open Original Shared Link Snippet from article. In 1991, Richard and Valerie James, bird breeders in Whangerai, New Zealand, purchased a new kind of feed for their birds - one...
  12. I bought the gluten free oats but have been afraid to try them. I am both gluten and gliadin allergic as well as gluten intolerant. I have dropped most grains from my diet. I do make bread with millet flour which is my gliadin exception but I rarely have it. I do eat rice still.
  13. Sometimes I go back through recent pages in case I missed something. When this thread is hopping, I am more certain to do that....and when it's slow, I generally don't miss anything. You just need to hope it's a day I don't feel like posting. (which does happen believe it or not).
  14. I am both soy allergic and intolerant as well as gluten allergic and intolerant. I never hand much in the way of symptoms so I can't help you there. I do know that soy can cause the same damage as gluten. If your positive that you haven't been glutened then drop the soy again for a bit and see if you feel better, then have some again and see if the symptoms...
  15. You're sharing duties with Dave. Middle one.....didn't you say you were bald? My hubby is too.
  16. Denise, I am so sorry you met with someone who wasn't as sensitive to your feelings. I am aware that there are people on here like that. Learn to trust the ones you can and take the things that hurt with a grain of salt. Most people who hurt don't do it intentionally, others are having a hard time dealing with their own issues and have difficulty...
  17. I recommend enterolab. They can't give an official dx but they can tell you whether you have an active gluten intolerance. I had my family done and aside from my husband we are gluten intolerant. I didn't even try to run it through insurance. Enterolab gives you the code break down so you can submit it for reimbursement if they'll cover any of it. Open...
  18. Hmmmm, maybe you should help out Dave with his duties.
  19. Hi Picard.....I see you!
  20. I need to take a break and go scour the kitchen for something to eat. You'll all probably be gone by then....but we'll see.

  24. Sure cats sing....just not much by themselves. Usually takes another cat to bring their musical talents to the forfront.
