I loved Ice Castles too. Did you ever see The Cutting Edge? I liked that one too, especially the end skating sequence. That sounds great! Will keep it in our prayers. I remember that song! What was the Ice Castles theme song....I forget.

Karen, You aren't any older than most of us here. I don't remember what decade roller derby was popular but I do know about it.

ARCHIVED Help Me, Drywall Sanding Symptoms
AndreaB replied to helptom's topic in Celiac Disease Pre-Diagnosis, Testing & Symptoms
I don't have any definative answer for you. I found out through allergy testing that I am allergic to gluten, among other things (see sig). I then went through enterolab and found out I was gluten intolerant. I don't know if you want an official or semi official diagnosis, or none at all. If you want official you would need to go through the blood test... -
ARCHIVED Tazorac Cream - Anyone Ever Use This?
AndreaB replied to DingoGirl's topic in Introduce Yourself / Share Stuff
Celia, I would be fuming right now if I were you. That is not good news. I certainly hope you hear back from your doctor first thing in the morning. Please keep us updated. I also thought everything was from cc issues. -
That's why I don't post the whole thing that much. I read that last night. I haven't been though. We don't usually go out to eat. We were vegans prior to learning about gluten allergies and intolerances, so have only been back on meat for a few months. My kids still aren't real fond of it and miss their soy.

I do ebay. That's where I buy my custom paint breyer horses. Check out mystic_horse_studios just to see what kind of work she does. She lives an hour north of me and is super nice. I also sell misc things. I'll be watching for it. I'm trying to catch up quick and I've got to grab a baby that just woke up. It's lunch time and his tummy...

Did you ever watch Matlock?
-
Oh, that's right....we do have the season premier of that. Talitha hasn't asked to watch it again though. That was another we were thinking of getting. She is pretty much into Little House, as am I. She has been on that binge lately, then she'll go back to Mister Ed a lot. There is one episode about Ed and a girl horse named Sabrina that they like quoting...

That means I'd better watch you closely. Ok, I'm going to change to my last horse picture that I have on the computer.....

Julie, We thought about trying to get some Flipper shows but I don't remember a lot about them and my daughter is easily scared. Some Little House shows scare her. There is one episode (2 parter) that we won't watch, at least until they are much older, it has to do with rape. There was another one that we decided to watch that was iffy and it scared...

I used to like to watch ice skating. I always enjoyed, was it Scott Hamilton . I forget his name, he did a backflip on ice. My favorite skaters were Gordeeva and Grinkhoff. I also forget how to spell there names. Back in '84 was their first olympic appearance.

Susan, I'm glad to see you more. Julie, Ebay, Amazon primarily. I order my school books online, have ordered from JCPenney. I prefer online when possible since I am one of the rare ones that hates to shop. Kris, You look great. Our babies are three months apart! Julie, DVD's we have.....Little House (What is being dubbed Season...

Jean-Luc Picard, Star Trek Voyager I think. Picard has changed his user name to Jean-Luc.

Kris, Love the picture. I just love seeing everyone. Who else do we need to pester about a picture.....Ryan is one. He posted over on the Tazorac thread this morning. I haven't watched Price is Right forever either. Of course, we don't have TV now , just watch DVD's and videos that we have. Old time stuff that most probably aren't interested...

AndreaB replied to Rachel--24's topic in Food Intolerance & Leaky Gut
I would say the chocolate first, then maybe bananas (only because I'm mildly allergic ), possibly potatoes. I don't know Patti. Could it be a bug and nothing more....sounds like one has been going round. -

Yes, Celia, Love the picture. Did you have that one up before? Susan, You're house guests and trade sound great.....of course I like the piano. I, too, am waiting for pictures. Karen, I hope you are doing better today. HUGS Ryan, I hope you hear soon, we are all here for you between this thread and the Rachelville 2 thread... -
I had done my searching online and didn't really find peer reviewed stuff. I didn't go beyond the first page of google searches either.

Dave, Why you always sneaking around at night? Chelsea, Sorry about your hair.....that sounds like a nightmare. Julie, Your hair is beautiful, why would you need to highlight it. Chelsea's was beautiful at her wedding too....I guess I'll never understand why people want to mess with hair that is already beautiful. Donna...

Yep, may have been Saturday night.

For you grease 2 fans, I always liked the original better. I saw the original first and many, many times. I thought grease 2 was good but was disappointed it didn't have anything to do with the first grease.

ARCHIVED 6 Year Old Grant's Story --any Ideas?
AndreaB replied to Luvs to Scrap's topic in Celiac Disease Pre-Diagnosis, Testing & Symptoms
I don't have any ideas to help. If she is willing she could request a celiac panel and even blood tests for allergies. Those aren't always accurate but would give her a start. If doctors won't pursue the celiac panel or it is negative she could also have enterolab run a stool test for him for gluten and dairy. When I got my test in May they were offering... -
ARCHIVED Insurance Coverage For Enterolabs
AndreaB replied to RunnerNYC's topic in Celiac Disease Pre-Diagnosis, Testing & Symptoms
Enterolab also tests stool for gluten/dairy/soy/egg/yeast antibodies....depending on what all you order.
