I've been Gluten Free for a bit over two months. I still am noticing improvement. Although I've caught a cold the last couple days, I'm even noticing a difference in my cold symptoms. Personally, I had Enterolab tests, which came out positive. I had Blood tests that came out negative. I had gene tests that indicated I don't have the Celiac gene. Since Enterolab is not accepted as mainstream medicine, you could argue that I don't have a problem and I don't need to be on a gluten-free diet, since I don't have Celiac. The problem... -

Tonight I rewarded myself with a hefty helping of Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream. Gluten Free of course. It was every bit as satisfying as any gluten containing food I've ever had. yum

I can understand your husband's apprehension, especially being a man and having had the same symptoms. The good news is it's likely your husbands symptoms will get worse to the point where he simply cannot ignore them. I tested positive at Enterolab had a negative blood test and do not appear to have the genes associated with Celiac. Nevertheless... -
The chump has a son with ADD and we have a half brother with schizophrenia....both of which have been linked to gluten....I tried to explain the potential for neurological damage and he just doesn't get it. I think we'll just let him have the runs for a while longer....he'll get tired of it eventually!

So I've noticed after 7 weeks or so (ok, I did cheat and have a cookie) I feel a dramatic decrease in feelings of stress, tension, anxiety and a nice increase in feelings of well being. I feel calmer, more in control, more upbeat, more focused. Work crap doesn't bother me that much. Yeah things will piss me off and I'll get upset, but I seem to bounce...
