  3. mango 04, you are so right, maybe i should dtart cooking gluten-free for my kids now so if and when they have the test its not way out there for them, BUT, you can taiste the differnce in cakes and pasts which is what my kids love the most.
  4. what about asidofolis, if you cant find yogurt DF then this is a goodreplacement, it gives good bacteria back into your tummy. sometimes when ive felt the thrush coming on ive downed a few for a couple of days and sometimes i manage to fend it off.

  8. my husband says that since ive found this forum he is a celiac widow! you dont reaise how much this thing takes over your life and how it affects not just you but others around you. i have so many ? and little answers which he understands. does anyone else had this?
  9. sorry about you not sleeping, srry i cant help ypu on this one as i suffer the other way around, no matter how much i get it doesnt seem to be enough for me. the only time i was awake like that is when my kids are ill and not in school\the next day, then i have little or no sleep as they are right next to me all day and night saying " mum mum mum" its hard...
  10. ok i love fruit smoothies and am looking for new recepies, someone has sujested putting raw carrot in them which im doing tommorow after my trip to the shops. anyone have any hints? i really want to try new ones, low fat please and also dairy free. thanx.
  11. hi , my C can last for a week or more, ive taken laxatives but now they are not working so good. i also hate that stuffed up felling that you cant eat anything. thanx for posting this ? as i suffer terribly, ive got a lot of new things to try now instead of laxatives.
  12. no they didnt fix anything just told to wait for mt appoitment for scan. and yes i could have bi**h slapped him all the way to london and back! so what else could cause this PID condition. when i heard that i did freak. i do feel better today and my tummy has gone down although im wacked and my boys said i lokked tired, i plan to have a lie in tommorow...
  13. had H for 10 years about the same time ive had suspected celiac and i do suffer with C badly sometimes bleeding, so i would say yes to that one, well me anyway.

    ok here goes, b-fast cupa coffee, lunch fruit smoothie in a pint glass with banannas, pears, apples,mango, pappya ans sometimes strawbarrys with ice cubes and then 1-2 cups of green tea and iether an assortment of nuts and seeds or crackers with sanwhich spread ( gluten-free) dinner is new pots, carrots , butternut squash peasand some grilled chicken, supper...
  15. got home today, went to the hospital who addmitted me immediatly, had an x-ray which found i had some kind of mass in my bowel which they said was an obstruction in my bowel, then had pethadine ( lovely) for the pain, seen by the consultant who said " you dont get constapation with celiac and you certainly dont get pain, no no it has to be something else...

  17. had another constapation attack, only been 4 days but its severe this time, my tummy is so swollen that i cant fit in to my trousers and i look like im 7 months pregnant,and my belly is rock solid hard, the pain in my tummy is worse its actually throbbing and feels like labour pains!! i feel sick and got gas and my head is banging and im a bit emmotional...
  18. so what food am i left with? to cut out fruit would do more harm than good i believe, constapation is one of my top symptom and fruit is the only thing that helps me, i could take a whole packet of laxatives and it wouldnt budge, ide be ok about replacement breads and pastas i dont eat them but i do need and love my fruit, i have a fruit smoothie every day...

  22. i run too which is why i thought it may be a sweat rash as well but it wasnt it was candida,ive been given cortisone and anti fungal cream , its starting to settle now and is not to so sore.
