  1. To people just reading the thread that don't look at the link.
  2. Think of it like getting over the flu, it takes a while for your body to heal the damage that's been done, and it takes energy to do that.
  3. Just pointing out that this was done in silico, which doesn't mean it's wrong, it just hasn't been tested biologically.
  4. I agree. What she did was cruel.
  5. I will do my best - all for you of course! It's that whole 'work hard, play hard' philosophy.
  6. OK Bevvie. In full support of you hanging tough, I'm giving up sugar for 10 weeks. And no fake subs for sugar, I mean nuthin sweeter than a banana. If you can hang tough, I'll hang tough with you. And every time I see something sweet and yummy, I'll think of you, and count one more day down.
  7. I would say, don't bother. You wouldn't ask your doctor before going vegetarian, so why do it to go gluten-free?
  8. What you choose to put in your mouth is up to you. Why don't you just try gluten-free and see if it helps?
  9. kareng's hub
  10. This thread is 2 years old....
  11. This is after your medical expenses have exceeded 7.5% of your income (or something like that). Open Original Shared Link
  12. I have to lie to myself. "OK, I'm not gonna clean, but I'll just <insert small task> so that when I do get around to cleaning it'll be much easier." Usually by the time I've sorted the junk mail, taken out the trash, picked up stuff from the floor, etc, there isn't much left to do when I do convince myself to clean.
  13. wow. Has she been out of your house at all? Played on something that was contaminated? Was hugged by a contaminated passing child? Are you gluten-free? Are you nursing? Maybe you were CC'd and didn't feel it?
  14. The normal range will depend on the lab that does the testing.
  15. Like Saturday morning cartoons, 'cept you get to go to bed afterwards. Glad the kitties are figuring things out. You must be a better alpha cat than I am. I could never make mine get along.
  16. I'm pretty much at the point where, you have to stop eating gluten and not feel different for me to believe you don't have an issue with gluten, but some people still need some diagnostic test in their hands. If you consider that the majority of people that come to this site have some gastrointestinal issue, for those people that need a test, Enterolab is...
  17. The issue I have with the majority of those studies, and the reason most people turn to Enterolab, is that the authors relied on a positive biopsy, or positive serum markers to determine who has Celiac Disease. Many people here will tell you that they tested negative, but removing gluten from their diets has made a tremendous change in their health. Where...
  18. 1). Back up your statements. 2). Assay validation and publishing are not the same things. I suspect Enterolab would tell you that they have validated their assay. It's not common for a company to publish, since they don't need to. They haven't received government money and won't be asking for government money in the future.
  19. As poofy as flour is, I think it would be pretty hard not to get some in your mouth while baking.
  20. Actually that has nothing to do with a type one error... Open Original Shared Link
  21. oh honey. If I had a kitchen I'd whip you up something and pop it in the mail. Wouldn't look nuthin like R'shell's, but, whatevah.
