  1. Easy to get caught up in things.
  2. Oddly enough, since he knows I'm going back to school, and I'm only using him for free tuition, I have essentially fired him. He really has no authority over me whatsoever, I'm working entirely for my own benefit (in my opinion).
  3. Most tests are only accurate within a certain range, anything above, or below that range is not a true number, so there is no difference between 8.5 and 30, if less than 45 is negative.
  4. Well, none of the cats cared for the RadCat raw. I still plan on transitioning them, but nothing can happen until Max is eating better. In the meantime I'm working on switching them to Wellness, most of which is grain free, and the rest has only brown rice.
  5. Sorry about the long-winded rant yesterday. It was work boys, not real boys. I asked (emailed) a simple question to the computer guy about how to use the Avg function in Access. He responded by telling me what I wanted to do with my data really should be done in Stata, and cc'd the boss. I responded that, yes, it should be done in Stata, but while...
  6. No time for a proper rant. Men are so parking stupid!!
  7. There are many many offices that won't give any info over the phone, good or bad.
  8. I'm starting with the RadCat frozen raw. Max, the sick guy, eats a little, but the other two will have nuttin' t'do with it. At the very worst I'll get Wellness and offer them both raw and Wellness for a while. None of them care for the Wellness either, but then, I'm the one with the car keys. My other two already supplement their home diet with fresh...
  9. I actually was talking to my other cat's vet and mentioned that I was considering switching all my cats to raw food. She said "let me know how it goes, I've been thinking about it too." The raw frozen diets you can buy, and the good home made recipes have added extra taurine. This is the site I'm kind of believing: Open Original Shared Link
  10. I have a very sick kitty that I'm trying to take care of. He'll only eat chicken, turkey and prawns. I'm happy to give him these, but I'm trying to come up with a long term healthy diet. Has anyone tried the raw route?
  11. While this site looks helpful, is it realistic? Can a 3 pound chicken (if you can find it for 99 cents a pound) feed a family of four for dinner and have enough left over for lunch the next day? Is one egg and 6 ounces of potato a sufficient breakfast for an adult?
  12. Try adding cinnamon buns to that mix.
  13. bottle o' scotch? by the time you wake up the headache should be gone...
  14. Red peppers stuffed with avocado and smoked salmon. bag o' nuts ( I buy big bags and make a mix which I put into smaller baggies and keep in the freezer). Some kind of meat jerkey. Small strips of frozen meat that will thaw for throwing on a cheap salad somewhere. Rice and beans.
  15. My "cure" for any stomach ailments is to eat the hottest thing you can tolerate.
  16. Open Original Shared Link Some of the comments below are annoying, but some detail other ways they've gotten viruses from FB.
  17. uuuuhhhhhh, sounds completely ridiculous. But if it works, it works. Maybe the ear is one of the sites where infection starts and modern medicine has completely dismissed it. Let us know if it works for you guys.
  18. I guess I think that what someone else has chosen to believe (doctor, scientist or fellow ill person) is irrelevant. If I experience problems with gluten containing products, then I shouldn't eat them. I would expect every individual to make their own assessment.
  19. Could you verify the thumb thing for us then?
  20. I'm pretty sure this thread has no TMI restrictions.
