Also contact the derm. celiac disease in kids can be hard to diagnose, and the more docs you have looking for you, the better your chances for a diagnosis.
  2. Poor Baby! :( I don't know anything about dh, but there's an informative thread: dh. Maybe it will help while you're waiting for someone more knowledgeable to post.
  3. dermatitis herpetiformis It's a skin rash associated with celiac disease.
  4. She has almost no IgA (middle test), so all IgA based tests are invalid. Her IgG test (last one) is on the high end of normal. Both of these tests are suggestive of celiac disease.
  5. Well WE think you're pretty fabulous, we just need to convince YOU that you are fabulous - just the way you are.
  6. I'll get back to you when I figure out what this is in a chicken... My kitties come when I yell TREATS!!! which fits in nicely with prickley's comment: Chickens will come when I shake a white paper cup (with treats). They'll also come when I walk out the door, look out the window, yell TREATS!!!, etc.
  7. Either good fencing, or at some point the neighbors will set up lawn chairs facing my house and spend their afternoons with a beverage watching me.
  8. Based on my experience in life, this suggests to me that you aren't quite ready for a healthy relationship yourself. I've noticed for myself, that I tend to attract/be attracted to people that are in the same stage of life/growth that I am. The healthier I get, the healthier people I attract (emotionally). Work on being who you are, and dressing the...
  9. Are you suggesting that I can't be trusted with a broom after a few drinks? That mayhap I'll tie a long black coat around my neck like a cape and run up and down the streets astride my broom cackling??
  10. Yesterday I potted a bunch of tomato plants from the store. Many were twins or triplets so I divided them all up. Now I (hopefully) have 6 cherry tomato plants and 7 early girls. Then I spent the rest of the afternoon with a broom and a bottle of cider keeping the chickens from eating the tomato plants.
  11. preferably something meat-based, in my experience...
  12. I have nothing helpful to add, I just wanted to say Geez Louise! Life has enough problems that we can't control, seems like we should be able to respect each others choices when we're already defending ourselves against a majority population that doesn't get it. Sorry you aren't finding understanding people in one of your communities.
  13. Maybe, if you've been having diarrhea.
  14. even better is: "My gluten-free loved her celiac disease."
  15. My favorite is the auto-correct, because certainly I couldn't have a friend named 'Marijane', I must have meant 'Marijuana".
  16. Happy Mom's day to all you Moms!! Went on a hike yesterday that was supposed to be just a walk in the woods, but there was still snow - and ice. Everyone fell at least once, including me, and I smacked my elbow and can't really use my arm. The Pirate had to make dinner last night. T'was beautiful though.
  17. Do you buy your own make-up? Most regular makeup can be applied heavily enough for stage.
  18. So that's what an F cup looks like
  19. Bra shopping sucks!! I like Lane Bryant, they tend to have larger cup sizes (and lower prices than Nordstrom's).
  20. There have been several threads on this, and yes, people do test negative.
  21. I think I would say "not-validated", which is different. 'Invalid' implies not true, while 'not validated' suggests that it could be true or not,but you need to check.
