    Peter, sorry about your small furry baby. I'm sure he was as happy as any cat could be while he was with you. Susie and Tom, more hugs. I spent three hours in the 90 degree heat yesterday washing my deck and swing. I come back in the house to find all the males sprawled over the furniture completely sacked out. harumph. men.

    hmm, not into praying (see previous post) but I can offer to watch some bad tv and drive over to my brother's house and clobber him... avoid the pit. soooooze. It's easier to keep away than it is to pull yourself out later.

    Well, Nik, they are still young. Plenty of time left for them to turn and expose you as a slacker mom I watched tons of tv, and only went to church when forced to, and I've managed to subvert my destructive, argumentative tendencies, but then, my mom and dad taught me what was proper, not the television.

    Of course not! Television is a tool. Teaching your kids to use it to their advantage, and not be sucked into mindless watching, will serve them throughout their lives.

    Nicely done. Those two people actually managed to imply that if that mother were more religious, she wouldn't be allowing her kids to watch tv. Gads. Church is not the answer to good kids; being a parent is. I try to avoid answering when threads tick me off -I don't think I could be very objective.
