  1. gads. If people don't shut up about how incredibly sweet it is, you're gonna have a room full of sniffly sillies...
  2. It is not weird. Tell her that it was your mom's and it means too much to you to sell it, and you'd like her to have it. She'll understand.
  3. People check in periodically. Someone designated Friday as weigh in day, but one person prefers Mondays, so she'll be good all weekend. It's up to you. Some people post their meals for the day/week. Again, whatever helps you to stay on track.
  4. Yeah Yogi!! join the group. I find that I only post if I'm losing, and so I assume that's what everyone does, so now that you've checked in, I expect to hear from you every week (tapping foot with that look on face)
  5. I find that those workperson overalls do a great job of dusting as the repairperson crawls around... Who's pack rat status??? soo... not only are you on the phone, on the toilet, you're announcing it on the internet.... I think, as a nation (nations? Canadians and Brits), we've become just a little too sharing.
  6. Sorry you missed these, Alex: Open Original Shared Link
  7. from my local email group: I just saw a sign up at T&C that the Gluten Free Girl is signing books from 12-2pm this Saturday. Anyone planning to make it? T&C is the market on Bainbridge Island that's within walking distance of the ferry.
  8. new car smell as eyeshadow. If you put enough on, it's almost fluorescent orange. Very fun!
  9. dratted cougs. they're everywhere.
  10. I've got to stop reading this thread. I just placed another order (I clicked '2' on the free kit. I'll let you know if they send 2)
  11. you are NOT dissing Oprah!?!? I haven't cared for the couple of her books that I've read either, but she has gotten thousands of people to read. That's worth a lot, in my book.
  12. Healthy -when you choose what goes into your body, rather than eating what others think you should.
  13. Excessive emoticons stuck to bodies?
  14. taste better when you're cheating, don't they...
  15. You could have them carry around containers of pee (a la Emily). Any misbehaving is countered by a public announcement of what's in the butter tub.
  16. Alex! A wedding AND a birthday all in one year!! Cheeriness and much giftage to you.
  17. Or not. Maybe it's that much funnier if it all seems abstract and out of the blue. Maybe we should all choose some number and only read the posts divisible by that number, say, read every seventh post. Then we could all have that surreal sort of experience normally only achievable with controlled substances or liberal phaerie drops.
  18. Yea, that was pretty much my response - Wow! I could never do that
  19. Pfizer Announcement Pfizer Corp. announced today that Viagra will soon be available in liquid form, and will be marketed by Pepsi Cola as a power beverage suitable for use as a mixer. It will now be possible for a man to literally pour himself a stiff one. Obviously we can no longer call this a soft drink, and it gives new meaning to the names...
  20. Has anyone checked out the EOTW thread on their forum?
