  1. Yes. I'm heading out now. Hoping it all works out. Oh heck, it will all work out, I just hope it doesn't involve too many inappropriate fluids.
  2. Hi all, just weighing in down two more pounds since last week. I suppose there has to be some benefit to eating nothing exciting.
  3. great idea!
  4. I've pretty much decided that the next remodel will be to turn the carport into a sunroom. All cat related bathroom facilities will be moved out there. This means delaying the kitchen remodel, but I think will be ultimately easier since I could move the washer dryer and fridge outside while the kitchen was being done (assuming I have any money with...

  6. Delightful weekend here as well. Overcast. A bit of drizzle. Perfect for all of us that live in Seattle on purpose.
  7. Usually absolute rejections are first. Your more likely in the "possible" pile. Just hard to know where in that pile you are...
  8. Interesting insight into human nature. We had a potluck. Everyone made something gluten free, except the girl whom I expected to actually work while she's at work. She made bread pudding...
  9. Yea!! on the healthy pup! I say the next silly summit is on the west coast. Cali if it's not too hot, Seattle if it's not too wet, Andrea's house in Oregon if we can't decide (nobody tell her )

  12. Rice krispies (and a lot of cereals) have malt. Soy sauce has wheat, unless you have the kind that has no wheat. If the ingredients only list soy and/or salt, you're OK. If something says 'malt' you should assume it's barley malt until proven otherwise. It's only overwhelming at the start, things do get easier, hang in there.

The cowboy replied, 'Just a few, maybe a half dozen. I cut each one into four pieces.' The pharmacist said, 'That's too small a dose. That won't get you through sex.' The old fellow...
  14. Except mine will all be long hair, so there'll be this ever present cloud of fur.
  15. I was discussing the merits of a one-eyed cat with my room mate. He's against it, so I told them I was just going to meet them on Saturday and decide. He rolled his eyes at me and said "Yea, right. As soon as you see them you'll want them both." Crazy cat lady status here I come.
  16. Just got a response from the shelter. I appear to have passed the initial application phase. I'll go visit them on Saturday to see if we get along.
  17. I hear ya. Yesterday I had some nachos with rice and beans and hot sauce that was made from pure ground up pepper seeds. Many things that I shouldn't have eaten. Towards the end of the day my tummy hurt pretty bad, and I was musing over my list of acceptable foods that I could eat that would soothe my tummy. -nothing. I ended up having salmon and...

  20. Maybe they'd like a house dog. Or be happy if you were sorta part time sorta full time, depending on the work load. You'll never know unless you try.
