  1. The poor dog. Looks very uncomfortable. And dragonsrebel jumps right in with a fresh joke WooHOO!
  2. So jealous of you people with entertaining relatives
  3. where? Upper? lower?
  4. My neighbor (who's in the middle of chemotherapy) just invited me to her bald party. All girls, she'll be genuine, the rest of us have to wear bathing caps. Must bring bald appetizers or wine, and makeup. One token male serving us drinks. I'll try to get pictures.
  5. *sigh* Big wads of chocolate stuffed into your mouth induce euphoria and make enunciating so not worth the trouble. That was so good.
  6. Hi arl foun par ov a bar ov chocrate tha I hadda fnsh sho I woon be tented to ea i. Ishno cheatin iv you HAVTA ea i tso prtect yursel la'er on. mmmm
  7. This would be a great avatar, if you could get the picture. I'd love to see the design she came up with!
  8. Gotta keep the boy happy. Maybe he does need a live in friend to help him protect you. (I've never had dogs and have no insight into how they think - I'm just making stuff up.)
  9. I think this is more of a symbol of how far we are (as a society) from understanding what we eat. Few people cook from scratch, even fewer grow their own food. Love the image of the googly eyed plants leaping out of the water to nip seeds from the waving fields of white.
  10. Amazing how good they are at spitting those things out. I'm sure pilling S-ooze will be much easier.
  11. Like Christmas without the expense!
  12. The mystical oriental healer emoticon? Did Scott really have that much foresite?
  13. Did ya want me to come over and put the pill down yur throat? I've had lessons
  14. Vet who treats Stepford cats. Although, after S-oozie's stories about the Stepford dog, maybe the vet I saw just indulges in absinthe after work and hallucinates those cats that calmly let you chuck a pill down their throats. (I really just needed a reason to be able to write S-oozie )
  15. Feeling better about the 17 rice crackers: Open Original Shared Link Lylie-bear's tooth is fine, he has some sort of ulcer on his gum. We got sent home with some steroids and antibiotics. Lyle turns into pudding in the vet's office, so the vet is calmly showing me how to pill a cat while I'm looking at her like she just stepped in from Susie's Stepford...
  16. He will certainly let me know. This is the cat that will jump up and pee on my bed while I'm in it if he thinks I've done something unforgivable (like pet the other cat).
  17. I think I look about 10 years younger after 2 years gluten-free. Most of the gray hair grew back brown, the wrinkles around my eyes are much less pronounced, I no longer have the old lady shuffle (well, just in the mornings, but less often).
  18. I have to take my cats to the vet in two hours for their shots. Lyle might need a tooth pulled as well, so neither of them as eaten since last night. I can't let them out because the neighbors leave food outside. So I have two hungry, irate, 15 pound cats swatting my legs every time I stand up. If they decide to coordinate a tackle I may be done for.
  19. It does sound like asthma. Or you could also be anemic. It's worth talking to someone about.
  20. You're in a room full of women and Tom (who is certainly not going to reveal any weaknesses as he is counting on us females remaining ign'rent). To us, you are incredibly manly and regal
  21. OMG!! I've just eaten 17 rice crackers Surely something so egregious heralds the end of the world or something In my own defense, it wasn't my fault. Chicken strips don't scoop up salsa the way chips do, and what was I supposed to do with leftover salsa that had had chicken dipped into it?
  22. That was so fabulous it made me sniffle.
