  2. If nothing else, you'd be giving her time to consider other options.
  3. Sarah, can you brief her on your health stuff, and tell her you'd like to try helping her out, but if you can't, you can't?
  4. Unless you're getting paid to keep him, and you need the income, stop.
  5. Yum!! The nice thing about not eating bread is that you have more room for all the really good stuff they put on the bread. I think I'm having tomatoes and mozzarella for lunch
  6. Never. Not worth it.
  7. yeah. Sounded pretty condescending to me. Not only is it not true for many people. she clearly stated she was protecting her toddler who likes to kiss her.
  8. They don't know a doctor didn't tell you unless you tell them that. Tell them a Celiac professional diagnosed you based on dietary challenges (meaning, of course, any of us on this forum ).
  9. I've never quite understood the need for a "professional" diagnosis (unless you need the paperwork for something). Do you need a doctor to tell you you have a headache? Just because there is a way to diagnose something with lab tests shouldn't mean that it's required.
  10. OK, this took me all day. I just couldn't figure out how you glutened your toities
  11. HBP!!!!! HYHAGD!!
  12. Cheery holidays and vacations to all. Marched walked in the local parade yesterday with the theatre group. Unfortunately we were several entries behind the disposal entry so didn't get to see the new garbage trucks (seriously). On the up side, the biggest tow truck in the county passed our entry on the way to the line-up, so did get to see that. Lefty...
  13. At last, a queen with doable edicts. ya know, that party dress hasn't been seen since Tom was monarch
  14. Love freecycle!! such a great way to get and give trash
  15. I actually just wanted to bump the thread (bought a crockpot!)
  16. Be sure to leave a trail of empty foundation containers so you can find your way out
  17. She'll be on Rachael Ray, July 9
  18. My Edna is doing well. I had some fruit today and started coughing because of how sweet it was Body doesn't hurt, psoriasis going away, lost a few pounds. I think Edna's are easier to stick to if screwing up is painful (or, y'know, causes you to wake up with maple syrup in your hair).
  19. Hi Ken, just want to add JEALOUS!!!!
  20. Has this been posted? Open Original Shared Link
  21. We're all wondering if you'll ever come back....
  22. NO ONE sees your socks or underwear
  23. Donna! You have the most amazing timing
  24. This may belong here: Open Original Shared Link They suggest that "inferior prosperity and standard of hygiene" may protect against developing Celiac. Listen up moms! STOP WASHING YOUR CHILDREN!!
  25. brief rant Having the variant of a gene that predisposes you to a certain disease does not mean that you will get the disease. Finding out your genotype for Celiac or ANYTHING is merely interesting. It is not diagnostic, it is not suggestive, it does not define a course of treatment, it is only interesting, and probably only to you. end of rant
