  1. Just get her one with a lock on the outside.
  2. picked him up in a (coffee) bar. He lives across the bridge, actually..or...that's where his boat is moored for the time being. He's only been back from Mexico since August so he's still trying to figure out what to do. He retired, got divorced, sold everything, bought a boat, and that's where he is......suddenly realizing that he's got to figure out how...
  3. Just make them with salt instead of sugar. Same unpleasant way to get your point across.
  4. I was making him breakfast yesterday -at noon- and he casually said "oh, I've been thinking about my recipes and I'm pretty sure I can rework most of them so you can eat them." So far he's made me omelets and sweet and sour chicken, but I'm sure he'll do more. He told me he was late meeting me the other day because he was getting a tour of the gluten...
  5. You can also record your lectures and re-listen to them later, if you think you may have missed something.
  6. hm he shivered me timbers, but beyond that I couldn't tell you...
  7. He lives on his yacht and just got back from two years sailing the west coast, from Alaska down to Mexico.
  8. welp, started seeing another guy. I know you guys have better things to do than to listen to me babble about men, so I thought I'd just let yas know.
  9. Make sure you have them bathe before coming inside.
  10. I found the ingredients for the herbal essence products on Amazon, and I don't see any gluten ingredients. The one-a=day site lists their ingredients Open Original Shared Link so you can find your product specifically, or call the company.
  11. Seriously. Eat food instead.
  12. You can handle this. Start with the food, and then worry about shampoos and stuff. I've found that it's the pricier products that tend to have gluten and the cheap stuff is mostly chemicals. If you are ready to look at products, post the exact name of what you are using, and people will either help you find the website, or help you find a phone number...
  13. Find out where the nearest hospital is, print out the location. When you meet with the chef, also have the manager there. Casually talk about how you can't have even the slightest scrap of gluten. Hand them the location of the hospital. Ask about which ambulance service they'll be using if you get sick from some careless person at the food serving place...
  14. fuss. whine. post. and then figure out how you will handle it. Looks like you're doing it right.
  15. I'm pretty sure ablations have to be repeated every few years, and will work best on one fibroid, that's on the surface of the uterus. It doesn't affect the submucosal, and isn't very effective for multiple fibroids. Hormones did absolutely nothing for me. After my hysterectomy, my biggest regret was not doing it sooner.
  16. You are amazing Miss Bonnie!
  17. Your first link just makes a statement without any supporting evidence. All gelatin is made from collagen. Open Original Shared Link
  18. Last night - mattar paneer, safron rice, and great friends. Tonight-- yogurt? fried egg?
  19. Gelatin contains glutamic acid, not monosodium glutamate. They are very different.
  20. And foil. Just crunch it up and chuck it out.
  21. If it's something else, eating gluten-free won't stop it. If you don't need a letter from a doctor for something (school, work, military), then you don't need a medical diagnosis. You can choose to eat anything you want without a doctor's permission.
  22. Just to clarify this statement, there are no "celiac genes". There are genes that are associated with celiac disease. It's not the same thing. Any doctor that tells you that you can't have celiac disease because you don't have the genes needs some re-education.
