  1. Trailer full of junk found on side of the road with a complaining couple inside.
  2. You will be given honorary queendom in the rodent hereafter, I'm sure. Toasty day expected tomorrow, might hit 70F.
  3. Sounds like 'frozen margarita' night.
  4. Holy crap! Canada is supposed to be cold all the time, being the great WHITE NORTH and all.
  5. I suppose you can get used to anything.....
  6. I'll order some of Open Original Shared Link
  7. I know. My mom has selective hearing/memory as well. "They never told me I should do OT after my heart surgery." "My doctor never said that smoking caused all my heart problems. It's genetic."
  8. I'd be careful with the timing since different crocks might cook differently. Also depends on how full it is. I'd go for overcooking rather than under. Maybe say: start crockpot at noon, will be done by 6 (adjust time for whenever they normally eat).
  9. ooohh yes! 60F here. Overcast today, but tomorrow should be nice. Can you stay for the weekend? Bring strwberries, the wee chickies love them.

  14. I take a B complex for an energy boost. Sometimes more than once a day. The B vitamins are water soluble so it's pretty hard to OD on them.
  15. It was pretty surprising. Not the 'gentle deposit' I thought was happening.
  16. Hamburger on rice cakes.......and wine
  17. After Mulberry's attack I started reading the BackYardChicken forum, going through all the 'emergencies' so I'll know what to be prepared for. So this evening the big girls are out in the yard for the evening and they come up on the deck to stare in the glass door. I'm kinda watching them, kinda reading the BYC forum when I realize the Delaware is doing...
  18. I think it's more of a lifestyle change...
  19. I was thinking of Open Original Shared Link. I also put rice wine vinegar and lemon juice on white fish, instead of salt. Sometimes on veggies too.
  20. While trying to remember what this other salt is called, I found this on Yahoo Answers:
  21. I start with a spice mix, usually Costco brand. Add plenty of garlic......'course I like garlic...., and whatever other herbs 'n stuff I think will go with it. Add some sea salt at the end of cooking (not low sodium, but adds a complexity of flavor). Sometimes it tastes right, sometimes I need to add more salt. Try using light salt (potassium chloride...
  22. The Care and Feeding of Your Troll: A Primer So, you brought home a new Internet Troll. Congratulations! If you are a first timer having a troll, you may have questions. Here are a few suggestions so that you and your troll can live in karmic balance. Now remember, each troll is different and your results may vary. However, this primer should help...
