    I would go in, sit at the table with my hands folded, and smile. And nothing else. If anyone asked I'd say I was allergic but had been told I wasn't allowed to provide food that wouldn't necessitate a trip to the emergency room. Then shrug and continue to smile politely.

    Keep in mind that the people that remain on a forum are the ones most likely to have had major issues. It seems likely that most people don't have these sensitivity problems after going gluten-free. After 5 or so years, I can tell immediately when I've eaten a tiny bit of gluten (more sensitive), but the effect lasts from a few minutes to a few hours...

    :lol: Poor boy is exhausted. I left him home alone to sleep. He was already napping on the couch when I left, so I expect he'll be out cold soon. He tends to hog the bed, so I didn't get much sleep last night and I'm looking forward to being out cold shortly.

    At my fav mexican place I can't eat the fajitas presumably because there's either gluten in the sauce they marinate the meat in, or it's cooked on a grill with gluten foods. I get a burrito without the outside and that's fine.
