  1. Laura, I think "Rachelville Resident Happy Girl" would work. Donna, so glad the appointment went well, I really hope this will result in better health for you. And did someone say Cheese?
  2. Thank you all for the birthday wishes, they make me smile.
  3. Miamia, the test I had was called a Biological Terrain Assessment, I think he said they are done in Germany in hospitals as a standard practice. Actually I had a lot of tests but that was the one I provided a teaspoon of spit for after 12 hours of fasting. Not easy, the doctor said some can't do it. Sorry my last post wasn't clear, I fell asleep about...
  4. I know Grumpy and Frumpy, very good friends of mine. I hope you feel better. I am thinking I am going to go back out to Calgary in about a month and meet with him for a full report, some of the tests they send away take that long to come back. The test does look interesting. Here's is a little more information about it. If I remember...
  5. This is one of the tests I had done, has anyone else had it?
  6. ROTFLMAO I'm sure you will bring joi de vivre to any workplace. I wonder at my own brain. I wonder about the story I tell myself. There is another story I can tell about my party and in future years it will be the one I will be most entertained by, no more poor me. There was a synchronistic event, my favourite kind, that occured the...
  7. My heart goes out to you, it must be so difficult to have these worries about your daughter and be pregnant too. I hope you are taking care of yourself. Here's my thinking: Gluten free diet - no risk. Endoscopy - some risk. I would and did chose a gluten free diet, what they are looking for with the endoscopy is damage and the damage has to be...
  8. Susan, thanks for asking about the party, it was the party that killed future birthday parties. I'll have parties again but they will be smaller and only the people I invite. I was told it was a great party and people enjoyed themselves and I did somewhat but there were a few people who seemed to think that I would be happy to take care of them, one...
  9. I have heard that prednisone can drive the Lyme deeper into the body making it harder to recover. Were you on prednisone after your diagnosis? Also, that antibiotics only work for about 70% of people infected with Lyme. Sorry,I know that is not good news. I have also recently received a Lyme diagnosis and have the same understanding that Rachel does...
  10. Just passing by on my way to exhaustion, so tired tonight after the party. Donna, I am thinking about you. Hello to everyone.
  11. I was in Colorado when I was bitten and had the rash, two people who were staying where I was staying two years before were diagnosed with Lyme. It is there, go to Lymenet or Lyme Strategies and follow the links. And welcome Claire, I'm glad you jumped into Rachelville.
  12. Julie, I'm sorry to hear that, take care of yourself. Patti, I have felt much the same way you do. I see those who are genuinely acting out of compassion limited by their views and as a result to those who are most vulnerable. I think we have to take radical responsibility for our health if we want to restore it.
  13. And you are beautiful in your photo, I'm sure you need only flirt just a tiny bit and the dingos will be in first class with you. Gluten causes inflammation and I am thinking all the while starving the body of nutrients, the lack of nutrients leads to the adrenal system being depressed and a lack of true rest, without rest we turn to those very things...
  14. ### Yes, his son is fine but I gather it was very close. So cute. As to anxiety, what I was trying to say is that the inflammation that Lyme causes in the body manifests as deep agitation and rises through the body into emotion, the emotion is intense and the intensity of it can lead to fear, the fear is natural and good, the fear...
  15. I've asked Hoffman for a complete list of doctors in the US who are like him, he is going to do that, if I don't have it soon, I will remind him. His week last week was insane, on Monday his 18 year old son nearly died of meningitis. We're glad you have "The Dave" too. The glands swelling in my case are fairly new, or at least I think...
  16. LOL, thanks for my first morning giggle Rachel. The test for Igenex was sent but Hoffman was quite definite, the funny thing was that at the beginning of the physical I mentioned Lyme coming up on the Meridian Stress test and he was like, yes that is an strong indication but not definite and then he looked at me and said if you have Lyme it is atypical....
  17. Judy, I am sorry you are feeling so badly. I think the problem with doctors within the system is that they are within the system and so even if they are good doctors and genuinely want to help you, the reality is they don't have the knowledge, experience or support within that system to do that. How is everyone this morning? Donna, Andrea? and Miamia...
  18. I returned tonight from Calgary, after spending the day in a 6 hour Hoffman Seminar on his Seven Levels of Healing. LOL I couldn't stay away though I should probably be sleeping, there is work to do tomorrow in preparation for the party. Not so much though, I am getting very minimal, corn chips with black bean, corn and mango salsa and no I won't be...
  19. I have missed you all. This will just be a short post though I have lots and lots to say, briefly though, yes I have Lyme Disease and having been bouncing round happy, happy, happy, LOL because I am going to get well and yes like Rachel says once a Lymie always a Lymie but we don't have to be devoured by it. I am also feeling very smug and because I...
  20. You would be correct and by the time you posted that I was probably sleeping but now I am getting ready for the airport, okay 3 hours is not enough sleep. Have a great week, love, blessings, and gratitude, yours in the drama, R.
  21. Thanks Mom, I agree, gluten is poison and it will not pass my lips again. These days I know that even when I think I am overdoing it I am really doing very little at all and the small delight in chocolate, organic, dairy and soy free is not dreadful. Thanks for reminding me.
  22. I just came across this, and Rachel I thought of you: Open Original Shared Link
  23. If you are hellbent on being a wild and crazy girl what about Kinnickinik Chocolate donuts unless this is some kind of weight loss scheme say it isn't so. I'm in no position to be acting like I behave myself, I ate chocolate today and I know it hurts me but since I am hurting all the time anyways....bad, very bad and then I had coffee, another bad thing...
  24. Squirt bottle done. Thanks, that went quickly. Would anyone like to fill out the questionaire for me? LOL I'm glad to know that I am not the only one who is questioning the whole O thing. I suppose if you achieve such insane success it becomes its' own prison. I have a friend who is a princess, grew up in a castle, the family had five castles...
