  7. They usually have steak. I think it's called carne asada. There's also carne guisada, but I think that one could have wheat in the gravy. I wonder if the rice is safe?? The beans??
  8. Thanks....yes, I can see how lipstick would be important for sure. I'm currently using Revlon, Cover Girl and Almay. Any comments on those? Hey Blanche. Did you see my reply to you on page 1? We both posted at the same time.

  10. I've had problems with systemic yeast for many years. I'm just now realizing I have a problem with gluten. One thing that concerns me is that most gluten-free breads, etc contain sugar and even if they don't, the carbohydrates in them will exaccerbate the yeast problem. I guess I can eat proteins and vegetables ONLY, but man does that get boring!!!!...

  15. OOPS....sorry I messed that up!!
  16. Have you been tested for Lyme disease? Any possibility you could have it? The usual test given by hospitals and labs such as Quest or LabCorp won't cut the mustard on Lyme testing. Check this site www.igenex.com and Open Original Shared Link for more information. I'll be happy to send you more information if you want to explore this. Lyme causes depression...

  19. Try Lindt chocolates ... they have a 70% cocoa which is low in sugar. I buy mine at Walgreen's.
  20. Where's the Forbidden List?? Is there a list of OTC meds and prescription meds that are safe....and a list of those not safe?? Someone mentioned that Gas X was not gluten-free, but I couldn't identify the offending substance on the label.
  21. WEll, fortunately, my "Lyme Doctor" is very open about things. He will explore any and all possibilities. He is very brilliant as well. I don't know what I would do without him! He would run any test I asked for, that's for sure. Don't know what this dr will say that I will see Friday. He's the colonoscopy expert, but I don't even know if he's a gastroenterologist...
  22. Ah!!! That's the big difference with this board!! Most of you are able to WORK!!! Hadn't thought about that!! Hats off to you all!!!! The Lyme board is full of people with nothing else to do than "chat" with their buddies. Some are able to work, but many are bedridden or homebound. I'm the lucky one. I am able to get out and around quite a bit now. I feel...
