    I understand. I decided not to JOIN the ladies group several years ago because I could not eat anything with alot of carbs or sugar because of my yeast problems. Now it's TOTALLY out of the question! Next church potluck will have to be "no luck" for me!

    Swanson's nattokinase gave me TERRIBLE gas and bloating. So I don't know if it's the gluten that MAY be in their products, or the natto itself. I haven't bought anything else from them.     Hope this is on the right forum...?? I had a colonoscopy last Wed and my gut is finally back in "order"....but I'm having strange BM's. They are coming out in "folds" or like one section is placed "inside" another. Very odd looking!! Anybody ever have this??     I had one 30 yrs ago with NO MEDS at all. I'm not kidding! It wasn't THAT bad....but 3 yrs ago I had one WITH meds and it was breeze....don't remember a thing....no soreness or anything. Good luck and welcome!!

    Equal can fry your brain....ditto for Splenda. I have some liquid stevia with vanilla flavoring. It's AWESOME. Does anyone know if it's OK? I haven't had time to call on that one yet. Don't worry about the FDA. Stevia is not a drug. All the FDA does is funnel money to the drug companies....just my BIASED opinion!!

    Don't assume you don't have Lyme just because a test came back negative. It's just like the specialty labs for celiac. Not all labs are created equal!     That will work for me. The difference will be that I will have to take the wafer or bread to the communion rail. You know, even the common cup is not that safe, because others eat their bread, then drink. I'm glad we have individual cups. Now I just have to check the wine. Are there any particular wines that are not OK?

    Thanks for the additional information. In answer to someone's question earlier....I was looking at toasters at Wal Mart. I don't know what brand it was that had the separate sections. I think there were two different ones.

I'm new, but it sounds like you're indeed a celiac and I agree about the negative biopsy. A negative biopsy caused me to not be dxd for 30 yrs!!!! No telling how much damage has been done to my body...

    Hmmm.....a toaster oven....now there's an idea! So the foil would make it safe??? My husband RARELY cooks ANYTHING...not even toast! I had already decided to put my toaster on the far right if I bought two, so crumbs wouldn't fall into mine. If you're sure the oven would be OK, I may do that!
