Results Of My Friday Gluten Binge....

Hope everyone had a nice weekend.

After Friday's binge on Wheat Thins and a Scone....I had brain fog until Saturday afternoon.

It was like the worst food coma you get on Thanksgiving, with a bit of depression and anxiety

thrown in there. Amazing that I've never made this connection between WHAT I was eating

and how it makes me feel.

Then on Sunday evening I was compelled by my wife to go out with with a group of

folks for Thai food. I had no idea what to eat, so I just ate whatever....and got hit

with a smaller dose of brain fog.

Gastro symptoms were not too bad this weekend, they kind of wax and wane, but the

brain fog was very evident. Almost like a drunken stupor, but not as fun.

Sooo, since it is only 5 days until my Alaska cruise, I guess I'll wait until I return to hit

up my doctor for a Celiac panel....

All I can say is eat as much gluten as you can between now and your test!!! Keep in mind that you may never be able to eat gluten again so you have to get in all your mc nuggets and scones in while you can! That should help you stay the course of your pre-testing gluten binge.

Also, I reccommend cruise bagels from room service, I must have eaten them every day on my cruise last summer I'm jealous, cruises are awesome!
