Personal experience : My daughter and sister has Celiac disease ; Both showed almost resolution of their symptoms and tolerating food better with Carnosine , CoQ10 and L-carnitine supplements, their Candidal overgrowth went away as well with the help of short time Probiotic supplements for a coulple of months only after long periods previously trying to get rid of them for no avail . Their doctor sited references in another disease called protein loosing enteropathy with the theory that "Oxidative stress" from Food ,stress and environmental causes with genetic pre-disposition to celiac caused the gut lining "epithelium" to get damaged . It worked for us for what its worth .Hope others have similar experiences.
