Reviewed and edited by a celiac disease expert.
    Egg Fried Rice (Gluten-Free) -

This recipe comes to us from "irish daveyboy" via the Open Original Shared Link:

    Ingredients:

    • 1 tablespoon Groundnut Oil
    • 1 Onion, diced
    • 1 Green Pepper, de-seeded and diced
    • 675g Cold Cooked Rice
    • 2 Eggs, whisked
    • 2 Tbls gluten-free Soy Sauce
    Directions:
    • Heat a large frying pan over a high heat until very hot.
    • Add the oil and swirl around.
    • Add the onion and pepper and stir–fry for 3–5 minutes, or until softened but not colored.
    • Add the rice to the pan and stir around until it is mixed with the vegetables and heated through.
    • Push the rice away from the center of the pan, pour in the eggs, and stir until scrambled and set.

Once the eggs are scrambled, toss all the ingredients together, add the gluten-free soy sauce, decorate with sliced scallions and serve at once.

Why would you throw grams in there as a measurement when all else is not???

Well, I don't know what ground nut oil is, either, but I would imagine, any oil would do. I plan on using olive oil. As for the grams, that's equivalent to about 24 oz. Sorry, I can't help with "cups" either. I prefer to use a scale, anyway.

675 gm of rice is a ridiculous amt. of rice. 100 gm = 1 Cup. Do the math. I filled a wok with 2 cups of rice and needed to put in a total of 4 eggs. It was a very lame recipe, sorry to say. I had to doctor this one up to make it palatable. sigh...

Ground nuts are peanuts--are there any other?--as opposed to tree nuts such as almonds.

375g ~ 12-oz. (You guys have computers in front of you, use them!

Also, Squid-brand fish sauce is gluten-free and can also be substituted for the soy sauce to great effect!

Recipes like this really should not even list quantities. Honestly, if you can't figure out the quantities on your own through trial and error, you shouldn't be cooking--which I usually translate into: if you can't cook for yourself, you shouldn't be allow to live.

Korean food is right at the top of my favorite international cuisine list, especially Korean barbecue. Gal-bi, or beef ribs are my very favorite Korean food. The Koreans know a thing or two about grilling ribs, and good Korean barbecue will hold its own against the very best anywhere. In addition to being tasty, it's easy to prepare and cooks up quickly with very little effort.
This recipe will deliver a batch of tasty, succulent ribs that would pass muster in the most discerning Korean kitchen. This recipe will serve about five or six people. The marinade can also be used on chicken or pork, if you like.
    Ingredients:
1¼ cups gluten-free tamari or soy sauce
    1¼ cup water
    3½ tablespoons white vinegar
    ⅓ cup dark brown sugar

Celiac.com 02/12/2014 - This green curry is one of my favorite Thai-style meals to cook at home. It is easy to make, and delicious. It can be served over rice or gluten-free noodles, and you can include whatever vegetables you like or have on hand. You can also add any kind of meat or tofu you desire, as you are cooking the vegetables.
    Ingredients:
1 cup jasmine rice 1 cup torn fresh basil leaves 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice (from 1 lime) 8 ounces green beans, stem ends removed, halved crosswise ½ cup baby corn, as desired ½ cup frozen peas 2 baby eggplants, halved lengthways, cut into 2cm pieces 4 kaffir lime leaves (see note), roughly torn, plus 2 carrot, sliced in bite-sized pieces 1 medium onion, sliced 1 bell pepper, de-seeded and sliced into bite-sized pieces ...
