 Can seliac disease  come from  working in a bakery for long term?

From what I've read, if you have the genes for it and you are exposed to gluten, it could trigger an autoimmune response.

Although the exact cause of celiac disease is not known, having certain genes increases your risk. You are more likely to have these genes and may get celiac disease if you have a first-degree relative (mother, father, brother, sister, son, or daughter) with the condition. Environmental factors, such as viral or bacterial infections, may trigger changes in the small intestine of a person with these genes. Then, eating foods that contain gluten can trigger an abnormal immune system response. Eventually, digestion and absorption problems may result.

Research continues on how genetic, environmental, and immune factors interact and affect a person's symptoms, at what age they begin, and whether long-term health problems develop.

No, but it can definitely be exacerbated by all that wheat if it became active recently. Have you been tested?

      Ibuprofen

      Thank you.. Christina My anxiety is through the roof. I think it was from eggs. I really don't know because my eyes feel sore. Like I'm allergic to them. I was defient in B12. My heart is pounding and it won't stop. Not sure what to do. I don't have much support other than this forum. Colleen

      Thanks rmj when I first rang up it was we can't do it without , but I talked to a lovely lady and she sorted it all out for me, so it pays to be persistent , I would have had to decline if I hadn't been given the water option too , so yes I'm glad too 😌

      Had my MRI today I didn't have to have the manitol with my allergy's , I just had a litre of water , they were great with my concerns , so let's see if anything comes of if will keep posted once I have results 👍

      Coeliac and Thyroid?

      Thank you ,it’s been a long road for me for having both now ,what upsets the most is that if they discovered that I also have cealiac earlier I would not have injested gluten if I was aware. Double whammy.
