I don't know if these are hives or dermatitis herpetifomis. I'm on a high gluten diet (after 4 months gluten-free) for re-test.

I have allergies as well as celiac disease, and develop hives as a result. Those do not look like hives to me.

I get hives on a regular basis , that does NOT look like hives.

You could check in with the DH crowd in the dermatitis herpetiformis subsection of the forum.  They could give you an idea if those are possibly DH blisters or not.

I don't have DH, but It looks more like folliculitis (staph infection) which can be cured with a round of antibiotics.  You said they were painful -- not EXTREMELY OR INSANELY itchy, right?

      You would think any business would see the wisdom of honoring a $50 gift certificate on the basis of customer satisfaction alone, apart from any questions about software glitches.

We then showed the owner the link to the card, the online receipt that I got upon purchase, and even my bank statement confirming the purchase.
