Red Line Rash? Swollen, red knuckles?

Hi Everyone, I've noticed sometimes when I have gluten, I develop red scratch like lines on my inner forearm and at times on my legs. Sometimes the knuckle on my pointer fingers get very red and swollen as well. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced similar rashes? I haven't had DH but believe these symptoms are related to gluten.

Any any direction will be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

I have had countless and varied rashes come and go since being diagnosed with Celiac.  Dermatologists have not been helpful for me.  Still, your best bet is to at least see a dermatologist and find out about yours.

Maybe they can help you!  Good luck!

I did once have a weird Open Original Shared Link near my knuckle for several weeks, with associated joint pain (same finger on the other hand also had pain, but didn't have the weird lump). Doctor didn't know what it was, but I'm fairly sure it was celiac-related or at least autoimmune. Went away with time, clean diet, and prescription steroid cream. That said, it wasn't anything like DH. I also haven't heard of red lines as a celiac rash, but there are so many different symptoms of celiac it's hard to say.

I agree with manasota; you should see a dermatologist.

Is there a minimum time since diagnosis of refractory celiac disease?  I really hope I’m not eligible for your study, but looking for it is one reason my gastroenterologist suggested an endoscopy. I’m having it later this month, due to still having GI symptoms on a strict gluten free diet.

There's a company called thistle subscription based food completely gluten free plant based. They offer juices, juice shots. I was wondering has anyone made their own juices shots for anti inflammatory gut healthy juices etc?

If you prepare gluten free and eat  gluten free but feel stomach pains hours later what makes it gluten contamination vs. something else you may have ate etc? anything to differentiate in symptoms? Thanks

Anyone diagnosed with Refractory Coeliac Disease can participate (they do not need to be in the UK but would need to be able to speak and understand English as the intervention is facilitated in English language)

Is this only for those in the UK, or can anyone diagnosed with celiac disease participate?
