Good! Because I'll probably be drinking that for Christmas dinner instead of wine! Alcohol doesn't go along with my system at allllllllll anymore!

By the way, is ALL soda gluten free? Including coke, sprite, diet sodas, etc.?

Thanks

Coke soft drinks are gluten free

Sprite is made by one of the companies above and it gluten free...their diet sodas are gluten free too(I stay away from them because of the artificial sweetener)

You have to watch out for off brands though because they may not be gluten free

You bring up a good point - communion. This Sunday will be my first communion since discovering I can't "cheat" by having even little bits of gluten. I usually take the smallest crumb I can find, but I think I shouldn't do that now. Hmmm... I wonder if we can get some gluten-free communion bread. The Ener-G brand has soy, which I am terribly allergic to. So, do you just pass the bread by?

You should call and ask your church if they have other alternatives. I know my church uses rice wafers and my uncle is a pastor and he had several members approach him about gluten-free so he switched to the rice wafers that were gluten-free. Good luck!

You can also make your own. Do a quick search of this site for Matzoh bread or communion wafer recipes.

Thanks for the list too makes me realise why I still get symptoms after cutting gluten , all that reading has just made sense to why I'm still struggling , thankyou Scott Adams very insightful , I've been baking to and there is xanthum gum in the flour , I understand now why I still have issues with that too, and ive had to cut dairy also , i had a terrible flare few months ago and my throat also was very irritable and I had sinuses issues all makes sence 👍

Thankyou yes I read up on it beforehand , because or my trapped nerve when I have a bowel flare up it's impossible to keep still  which I will have to do for the MRI ,and it's so painful , and I know if this is what I'm thinking it to be it will cause me terrible issues , sometimes I get to the point where I just want to diagnose myself and act accordingly, because I've been at this year's , and I clearly have all the symptoms , it's so frustrating when you have all this going in and still feel no further ahead 😳
