Dairy Intolerance Websites?

its been awhile since i needed dairy intolerance info (turns out i was only gluten intolerant, not dairy at all), and now i have a friend who thinks her daughter is dairy intolerant and i want to guide her to some helpful websites. can you guys recommend any please? i really need to get her a list of "buzz words" that mean dairy in labeling...i used to have a card with all that, but got rid of it. <_<

They've made it a bit - weird - and confusing since I used to read it. It's a place to start though.

heres a site with lots of info along with a message board

this is also where I ordered my lactose pills...much bettter than the ones we get here at the drugstore.

      Welcome to the forum, @Mpanknin! Questions like that really have no definite answer. Even if you tested a container of it for gluten content, the test results would only be good for that production batch. Assume it has some degree of CC. A more important question might be, how sensitive are you to minor amounts of gluten exposure?

      I have Celiac, and I just found out that HCTZ has gluten in it, and also makes you severely constipated versus diarrrhea!!  I need another medicene for blood pressure that is certified gluten free, without the 20 ppm, and doesn't cause constipation, please!!

      Thanks Wheatwacked. My D is normal. I take B12, B6, and a bone health supplement (I'm 67) that has K1, Calcium, Magnesium, and a bunch of other things. But no thiamine. But I will have my doc add it to my next blood draw. Thanks for the info WW!

      Wondering if this is gluten free or not. The only ingredients show garlic. Nothing about where it's processed if there's cross-contamination etc. Anybody know?

      @jeffpine, please realize that GliadinX is not designed to allow you to eat large amounts of gluten without celiac repercussions. It is designed to counteract cross contamination situations where you might be exposed to small amounts of gluten accidentally such as you might get in a restaurant when you order something that should be gluten free but it is cooked on the same grill with stuff that has wheat. Also remember that the absence of noticeable uncomfortable reactions doesn't necessarily equate to no damage happening to the small bowel lining.
