I was diagnosed with celiac 15 years ago and follow gluten-free diet 98% -100% of the time-i eat mostly plant based, chicken, turkey, and seafood -it seems like everything gives me diarrhea,gas, bloating, etc-i loved food n now its always a problem n i am a healthy eater- before  celiac i never had a problem!!  Any thoughts?

How does it happen that up to 2% of the time you eat gluten? Are these usually accidental exposures or a breakdown in resolve? Not meaning to sound judgmental but when I read that the first thought I had was, how serious is this poster taking her celiac disease? Maybe that 2% is enough to keep the disease active.

Switching gears here but did you know that it is common for celiacs to develop other food intolerances over time? It's tied to the dysfunction of the celiac's immune system that unravels little bit by little bit over time. You might need to do an elimination diet to see what's triggering your symptoms or at least start keeping a food diary so that you might be able to see patterns between what you eat and when you develop symptoms. But realize the symptoms can accrue from something you ate yesterday. There may be significant delay. So that's where keeping a food diary for several weeks can help you spot patterns when the symptoms are delayed.

      Thankfully those are normal. B12 was on the low end of the normal range when I first got diagnosed. When I last got it checked, it had come up a lot (455 last time checked).

      You can search this site for prescriptions medications, but will need to know the manufacturer/maker if there is more than one, especially if you use a generic version of the medication: To see the ingredients you will need to click on the correct version of the medication and maker in the results, then scroll down to "Ingredients and Appearance" and click it, and then look at "Inactive Ingredients," as any gluten ingredients would likely appear there, rather than in the Active Ingredients area. https://dailymed.nlm.nih.gov/dailymed/  I didn't notice any gluten ingredients in Kirkland Almond non-dairy beverage, however it does contain Locust Bean Gum. Some gums may cause IBS-type issues in some people with celiac disease or gluten sensitivity:

      For the past few months, I've been taking several supplements (a multi-vitamin, an iron supplement, a vitamin C supplement, and a magnesium supplement), all of which state that they are gluten free on the label.
