I've had some stomach pains and stomach issues today. Se if anyone can point anything out.. I had strip steak and eggs whites for breakfast. Some diet pepsi.  Little more of the steak around lunch with some corn tortilla chips and pace salsa. Grabbed a arnold palmer half and half on my way home. Started having pains. Everything I believe was gluten free...

It's really hard to know without seeing the packaging.

It's definitely hard to tell for sure, but the things you listed should be gluten-free, so perhaps you have an additional food intolerance, perhaps to dairy/casein, which is pretty common for celiacs, or to corn? Have you tried keeping a food diary to see if there is a pattern?

Kwx525 Apprentice

Just started a food diary the other day. I've been okay the past few days. I think I've ruled out eggs or egg whites as I've had those the past few mornings with no issues. Just gotta realize there isn't a quick fix, as the food log is really going to be the best resource.

I did get a viome gut test. Still waiting on the results from that. I've been reading some positive things on take collagen for leaky gut. Do you think that would be an okay addition to my daily routine? Also, I'm currently taking a B vitamin.

Thanks for the help

As long as it's gluten-free, adding collagen should not be any issue, nor would B vitamins.

Very interesting, @Idnam.  When I was experiencing this problem at its worse, I found high carb meals like lots of rice or too many cookies were a trigger.

Oh my, I have always had the symptoms for B12 deficiency, which is why I had the blood test that led to my celiac disease diagnosis I had been taking  B vits have been always been amazed that all ,my bloods were perfectly normal! I queried this many times with my doctor as to whether the B12 was active and being absorbed or whether it was just in my bloodstream. They dismissed this idea. And of course I still take them. Thank you so much, what a revelation and really quite understandable,  I am about due for my annual full blood test so maybe I will just stop taking them?

@SB04, Have you been checked for B12 deficiency?  A deficiency in Vitamin B12 will cause hives and also raise the tTg 3 IgG level, even in people without Celiac Disease.   You can have B12 deficiency without having Celiac Disease.   All eight B vitamins work together.  Do not supplement just a single B vitamin.   Best wishes.
