Rachel I don't recommend this but I prefer to put the drops under my tongue and let it get absorbed for about 30 seconds. It goes right into the blood stream. Better that way instead of putting it in water.

Lisa,

I just woke up from a long nap. I never take naps! Could this be from the zeolite??

Did you have any detox symptoms when you started?

Everything I read as far as treating the autistic kids said to work up the drops. Of course I'm not very patient and I started with the 10 drops right away. I was supossed to meet my friend awhile ago but I didnt make it because I was sleeping! So I got a big lecture from her about moving too fast with new things and not letting my body ease into it.

For some reason I didnt think that detox reactions from zeolite are all that common but maybe I'm wrong? I also had a tiny bit of nausea when I first woke up but that went away pretty quickly.

Anyways I found this in an interview...

Question: Our concern is the product removes toxins too well, as opposed to not well enough, and that there is a need for colonic therapy while taking liquid zeolite to assist with the elimination of toxins from the body. What is your opinion on the need for this therapy concurrent with taking liquid zeolite?

Rik: It's interesting. I've got to think of it in a more logical sense, because one of the big issues is compliance. I want people to be able to take something and very easily add it to their everyday usage. They can even carry a bottle around with themselves. I don't want to say that everyone needs to go in and get colonics and other cleansings along with the liquid zeolite.

But, I know that Dr. Gabriel Cousens, as well as others, has a protocol where he includes a lot of things on top of the liquid zeolite, and has incredible results with zero side effects.

What we've seen in highly toxic environments, with people that have multiple chemical sensitivities and a lot of issues, maybe 1 to 2% of the general population does have some detox effects.

This could include a rash, could include swollen lymph, could include detox syndrome like nausea and headache....that are not directly associated to dehydration but to the fact that they're detoxing very fast and they have all these things moving around in the body.

I call it "stirring the pot".

Rachel-

I hope the zeolite helps you as much as it helped lisa

Thanks Mia. :)

I'm glad you enjoyed the "memory lane" posts. Hysterical.

Sorry you're body is reacting badly to stopping the med. :(

I hope you feel better soon. Hang in there.

Green12 Enthusiast

Well my peeps, Dr K. had left the building :(

I ran in there and found my practitioner (while I was waiting for my Dr to finish up with the last speaker of the day) and I asked her if Dr K. was still here and she said, NO, he was only there Thurs and Fri. I told her I had just wanted to at least see him and she said you wouldn't believe the amount of people that showed up just to see him.

I said yeah, he's a rock star.

She said he is the most awesome speaker ever. ;)

Mia, I'm sorry you are having such a rough time going off the meds you were on. I hope you turn a corner very soon and start to feeling better :) Hang in there my dear

Paula, I don't know about the foot pads either, can you email Scott about them?

Rachel, about the detoxing reaction, I don't really know specifically for the zeolite, but when I feel I am detoxing with anything pretty strongly it seems to always put me fast asleep, so maybe it's a possibility.

OMG....I soooo cant wait to get past all this food drama. I cant wait to travel. I'm definately gonna be one of those people that show up just to see him!!!

Rock star indeed! He has "groupies".

I had the same exact thing happen after my LED's for mercury and for sulfa. I fell fast asleep and woke up feeling a tiny but nauseous. <_<

I also started my probiotics...so who knows.

He totally does

I did the same thing with my NAET treatments, I would just fall asleep immediately after, and I would sleep hard. My Dr at the time explained that it was like the circuits were being switched off and then reconnected and turned on again, so yeah, I don't know

Maybe the zeolite is rewiring you as we speak

Maybe I'm in the 1-2% of highly toxic people....or maybe I was just REALLY tired today.

Also I havent been drinking much water. I just realized that right now. I guess I need to step that up because I know I'm probably lacking in that area. Are you drinking alot of water with it?

What do you think? Is detox reaction likely or unlikely?

Rachel the first day I took it I went to a Waiora meeting and I felt terrible. The little ole couple John and Kathy Rhodes were worried about me. I don't know why but I do know that I am 1% of the population that is highly toxic.

You should definetly drink more water or it isn't going to do any good. After a few days I was fine.

A detox reaction is likely. Meaning you are highly toxic. Maybe your body was using some of these metals and stuff and now that thier leaving, you body is like, hey I was using that.

Don't give up! Remember this can't hurt you. For some reason us with Lyme need to start with a higher dose than those with autism.

tabasco32 Apprentice

Here's something else I found.

Sometimes people report that they begin to feel a little sicker or hurt a little more when they first start using this. Is there any explanation for that?

Yes. Certainly, classic detox syndromes are caused when metal or other toxins are freed up from sequestration and now are available to the body. And as I said before, the body tries to take these toxins and wall them up with tissue or with fat. When those molecules become free to exchange with the environment, they can cause all kinds of havoc, and many detoxification products are laxative-based or diuretic-based and pull these toxins out and they do a lot of damage on their way out, so you have these classic detox symptoms.

The NCD works differently. By sequestering the toxins inside the cage, it has very little exposure to the outside, so causing very little damage

I think I need alot of rewiring.

Maybe your body was using some of these metals and stuff and now that thier leaving, you body is like, hey I was using that.

My body's gonna hafta learn to start using some of the safer options....ya know....stuff like calcium and magnesium. It might be freaking out right now but in the long run this is the best thing. :P

I definately think alot of the problems we get are caused by toxic metals taking place of essential minerals in the cells and especially with enzyme systems. They just kick out the mineral and the whole system shuts down.

He explains it in that same interview....with regards to autism though.

Question: Do you have any findings regarding liquid zeolite and children with ADHD or autism?

Rik: This was something completely new to me. I

Rachel--24 Collaborator
The recommendation is simply to drink plenty of water, keep taking the product and you
Green12 Enthusiast
I'm headed to whole foods for more water. :D

Ok, drink plenty of water, yes, just don't Rachel the water

We don't want a repeat of that last time you drank way too much water in too short of time for that test. I think 8 oz per hour is recommended.

Rachel--24 Collaborator

Hey, does anyone remember when we made our "wish lists" back in the beginning of the thread??

You know....all the stuff we wanna do when we recover??

I cant recall everything that was on my list but I just realized that alot has changed since then.

So I wanna update my list right now. :)

Some things are still the same I'm sure....but these things get put to the top of the list.

I wanna go to Germany to visit my friend.

I wanna go to an autism conference (of course Dr. K has to be a speaker :P and I wanna see Dr. Amy there too!)

I wanna go to Washington to meet Andrea, Mitch and the children

I wanna have a real rachelville gathering!

Thats it for now.

I know I have more to add to this list but I have to get to whole foods before they close! :o

:lol::lol: thats so funny!

I think it was before my ultrasound. I totally racheled the water....it was painful holding all that water!

I wanna go to Seattle and see my good friend.

I wanna go to San Fran and see all my friends.

I want to give back to everyone who has given to me.:)

I want to go to a culinary school.

I want to go to Las Vegas and hit up every all you can eat buffet.:)

I want to go to a Waiora conference in Florida with Dr K.

I want to go on a missionary somewhere or retreat.

I want to go to the Hersheys amusement park in Pennsylvania.

I want to do everything.

Rachel--24 Collaborator
I want to do everything.

Me too Lisa! :)

Rachel--24 Collaborator
I want to go to a Waiora conference in Florida with Dr K.

Hey....does Dr. K speak at Waiora conferences??

Becuz if he does....you KNOW I have to be there. Afterall, isnt that what "groupies" do??

Besides, I love Florida. Its hot there....and they also have alligators. :)

AndreaB Contributor

I wanna have a real rachelville gathering!

I'm still hoping to meet you up here.. :D ....and I want to come down there sometime too. Then we could get the California gals to come up to your area so we could all meet, at least. My part may not happen for quite awhile though as I have to stage the rest of my teeth (aside from the amalgam removal which will all be this year) over the next few years. I'll have permanent crowns and cavitations to take care of after the amalgam removal.

Besides, I love Florida. Its hot there....and they also have alligators. :)

Don't forget the dolphins! :D

I found this YouTube video...

Open Original Shared Link

"Detoxing with Chlorella" by Dr. K.

He said he considers anybody who's not detoxing for a lifetime to be very stupid...they're just not "getting it".

Yeah...been there....got poisoned.

Detoxing for a lifetime is very important for optimal health.

P.S.

There are also videos on Dr. K's "5 Levels Of Healing". You can find them on YouTube.

Rachel--24 Collaborator
Don't forget the dolphins! :D

Of course!! How could I have forgotten this part! :o

I *must* swim and frolic with the dolphins. :D

tabasco32 Apprentice

How can anyone tolerate 50 tablets of chlorella in one day?

Yes were like he said, "Very Stuped."

:)

Rachel--24 Collaborator

These are the main things with oxalates that I think I'm dealing with. If my oxalate levels turn up high in the urine...then I can be more sure of it.

Increased urine oxalate seen with:

Increased intake of oxalate-rich foods

Inflammation of lower intestine - this increases permeability (leaky gut) and enhances oxalate absorption.

Low calcium concentration in the lower intestine - calcium will bind to oxalate in the GI tract and thus prevent it from being absorbed.

Fatty acid malabsorption - the calcium will bind to the fatty acid so less is available to bind to the oxalate.

Lack of intestinal bacteria which can metabolize oxalate. (this one is for sure)

tabasco32 Apprentice
Hey....does Dr. K speak at Waiora conferences??

No, but I would want him to. :)

Rachel--24 Collaborator
How can anyone tolerate 50 tablets of chlorella in one day?

I know lots of people that can.

I am sooooo not one of them.

I'm the one who started throwing up after taking chlorella.

I'm pretty sure that chlorella is a high oxalate food...its also sulfur containing.

I dont think it's tolerated well for people with those issues....but otherwise its usually ok. I'm sure he's tested a gazillion people for it with ART and most can tolerate it.

I have NEVER tested well for it. :(

Rachel--24 Collaborator
No, but I would want him to. :)

LMAO!

Maybe you could request it.

He definately has experience with it...

Dr. Deitrich Klinghardt also introduced the product on January 14-15th 2006 to 100+ attending Medical Professionals at the annual convention in Seattle, for the Institute of Neurobiology, it was remarked by one very enthusiastic listener that "this could be the biggest breakthrough since penicillin."

The two ingredients in the product are a volcanic ash mineral called zeolite and distilled water. Zeolite is not a new substance, it has been around, used, and documented for hundreds of years in Asia. For example, 2 tons of it was dumped around the Chernobyl disaster site to soak up the toxic waste. However, what is new is the process in which this particular zeolite is manufactured.

Why you laugh?

You told us to list our want's.

P.S.

It's not me. :P

Yeah...I did didnt I. :P

I totally thought you wanted to go there because Dr. K. is a speaker. I didnt know it was actually a part of your wish.

Sorry....my bad. :P

Hey did you know that they advertise Waiora zeolite in blue on the top of this forum?

I just saw it!

I guess Waiora is one of the sponsors??

LOL...you got in trouble for aiding one of the sponsors.

If you would like to purchase the product....do NOT click on link in post...must scroll up and click on the "blue link" at the top of the page. :P

Its because it was YOUR link....you're not allowed to do that Lisa!

I'm all up to date on the board's rules now. ;) Dont even think about trying to sneak that one by me again. :P

bad girls, bad girls, whatcha gonna do.....

@Jane02, I hear you about the kale and collard greens.  I don't do dairy and must eat green leafies, too, to get sufficient calcium.  I must be very careful because some calcium supplements are made from ground up crustacean shells.  When I was deficient in Vitamin D, I took high doses of Vitamin D to correct the deficiency quickly.  This is safe and nontoxic.  Vitamin D level should be above 70 nmol/L.  Lifeguards and indigenous Pacific Islanders typically have levels between 80-100 nmol/L.   Levels lower than this are based on amount needed to prevent disease like rickets and osteomalacia. We need more thiamine when we're physically ill, emotionally and mentally stressed, and if we exercise like an athlete or laborer.  We need more thiamine if we eat a diet high in simple carbohydrates.  For every 500 kcal of carbohydrates, we need 500-1000 mg more of thiamine to process the carbs into energy.  If there's insufficient thiamine the carbs get stored as fat.  Again, recommended levels set for thiamine are based on minimum amounts needed to prevent disease.  This is often not adequate for optimum health, nor sufficient for people with absorption problems such as Celiac disease.  Gluten free processed foods are not enriched with vitamins like their gluten containing counterparts.  Adding a B Complex and additional thiamine improves health for Celiacs.  Thiamine is safe and nontoxic even in high doses.  Thiamine helps the mitochondria in cells to function.  Thiamine interacts with each of the other B vitamins.  They are all water soluble and easily excreted if not needed. Thank you so much @knitty kitty for this insightful information! I would have never considered fractionated coconut oil to be a potential source of GI upset. I will consider all the info you shared. Very interesting about the Thiamine deficiency.  I've tracked daily averages of my intake in a nutrition software. The only nutrient I can't consistently meet from my diet is vitamin D. Calcium is a hit and miss as I rely on vegetables, dark leafy greens as a major source, for my calcium intake. I'm able to meet it when I either eat or juice a bundle of kale or collard greens daily haha. My thiamine intake is roughly 120% of my needs, although I do recognize that I may not be absorbing all of these nutrients consistently with intermittent unintentional exposures to gluten.  My vitamin A intake is roughly 900% (~6400 mcg/d) of my needs as I eat a lot of sweet potato, although since it's plant-derived vitamin A (beta-carotene) apparently it's not likely to cause toxicity.  Thanks again!
    • knitty kitty
Hello, @Jane02,  I take Naturewise D 3.  It contains olive oil.   Some Vitamin D supplements, like D Drops, are made with fractionated coconut oil which can cause digestive upsets.  Fractionated coconut oil is not the same as coconut oil used for cooking.  Fractionated coconut oil has been treated for longer shelf life, so it won't go bad in the jar, and thus may be irritating to the digestive system. I avoid supplements made with soy because many people with Celiac Disease also react to soy.  Mixed tocopherols, an ingredient in Thornes Vitamin D, may be sourced from soy oil.  Kirkland's has soy on its ingredient list. I avoid things that might contain or be exposed to crustaceans, like Metagenics says on its label.  I have a crustacean/shellfish/fish allergy.  I like Life Extension Bioactive Complete B Complex.  I take additional Thiamine B 1 in the form Benfotiamine which helps the intestines heal, Life Extension MegaBenfotiamine. Thiamine is needed to activate Vitamin D.   Low thiamine can make one feel like they are getting glutened after a meal containing lots of simple carbohydrates like white rice, or processed gluten free foods like cookies and pasta.   It's rare to have a single vitamin deficiency.  The water soluble B Complex vitamins should be supplemented together with additional Thiamine in the form Benfotiamine and Thiamine TTFD (tetrahydrofurfuryl disulfide) to correct subclinical deficiencies that don't show up on blood tests.  These are subclinical deficiencies within organs and tissues.  Blood is a transportation system.  The body will deplete tissues and organs in order to keep a supply of thiamine in the bloodstream going to the brain and heart.   If you're low in Vitamin D, you may well be low in other fat soluble vitamins like Vitamin A and Vitamin K. Have you seen a dietician?

I do not know this, but since they are labelled gluten-free, and are not really a product that could easily be contaminated when making them (there would be not flour in the air of such a facility, for example), I don't really see contamination as something to be concerned about for this type of product.
