Just wanted to let you all know that I got B1G1 free coupons from Ians!

All I had to do was sign up for their kiddie program at www.imasuperfitkid.com

They sent this little packet of w/a sticker, a tatoo and info on their program that you can earn rewards for. I won't do that, but I signed up BOTH my kids so that I could get 2 coupons!!

Thank you! I usually don't buy these since they are so expensive, but with a coupon I would. Thanks again for sharing.

Hi Cheri A

those Ian's chicken nuggets will not hold a candle to the recipe you gave me.............I think I have had to make them about five times so far for the kids. They can't get enough of them and the rest of my non gluten-free family wants them too!!!!!!!

I'm trying to make them and freeze some when I don't have time to make them but they just don't stay around long enough I swear they smell them from miles away and come over....

While we're on the subject of Ian's chicken nuggets...I have to let everyone know, you absolutely should never microwave these things. Cook them in the oven! :) The microwaved version is unbelievably nasty in comparison!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks Mamaw! I'm glad that you are enjoying the recipe!! We had them this week too and I sent the leftovers w/my dd on a sleep-over and a bag of frozen Alexia french fries for her and her friend to have!

I'll be using the coupons I got for the fish sticks ~ my dd does like them and I don't care to mess w/fish. It makes me sick! ;)

I put on over 12kg by eating protein with every meal, 3 to 5 times a day. Eggs, Chicken, Tuna, Turkey etc. I stay away from too much red meat as it can be inflammatory. Scott is correct. I've come across a bunch of Coeliac PT's on Tiktok and Instagram. They all say the same thing, the key is getting enough protein and consistency.

It's great to hear that eliminating gluten has helped alleviate symptoms like eye burning, which is a significant and positive change. The first and most important step is to ensure you're consuming enough protein throughout the day to support muscle repair and growth, which can be challenging with a busy schedule. Since you're already physically active at work, adding focused strength training just 2-3 times per week can make a major difference. Bodyweight exercises like squats, push-ups (modified if needed), and lunges, or using resistance bands at home, are excellent, efficient places to start. Remember, consistency with these short sessions and prioritizing post-workout recovery, including good sleep and hydration, are just as crucial as the workouts themselves. It's a smart, gradual process at any age.

Trader Joe's carries a good variety of affordable gluten-free foods like bagels, hamburger buns, pasta, etc. I like Franz Gluten Free bread, which is available at my local Costco. Food For Life and Little Northern Bakehouse (advertisers here) also make excellent gluten-free breads. Costco also sells gluten-free pizzas, crackers, gravy, etc.
