Zojirushi Bread Machine

I'm so excited. My Zojirushi bread machine just arrived as my Mother's Day gift. I need quick help in figuring out the settings for a Gluten Free Pantry favorite sandwich bread mix. I did go to the GFP and Zojirushi websites, but wasn't able to come up with the settings information.

Can someone help me out? I'd love to make a loaf this afternoon for my kid's snacks.

Thanks much.

Living Abundantly,

Annette

I just made a loaf of that bread on my Zoj last week. I used the medium setting, white bread. It turned out just fine. I'm not sure if we have the same model, but mine is the Home Bakery Supreme BBCC-X20. The cycle I used takes 3.5 hours.

Enjoy, I love my Zoj, but I prefer the Manna from Anna mix to the gluten-free Pantry one. GFP is easier to get your hands on though, and is not bad itself!

I think this is what you're looking for

I spent less than 5 minutes programming this once. It works great with all the gluten-free mixes I've tried.

Try this....copy/paste this link into your web browser

and then scroll down to the Baking Tips, Guides, and Resources. The Zojirushi instructions are there in pdf format.

I agree with Lauren that Anna's mix is the best. For her mix I use the quick wheat bread setting that uses only one rising.I think this is what anna recommends also. @ hours and 8 min. Perfect every time. Most gluten-free breads only need one rising so I hear from others.....

The Zor is the best machine I love mine......

have fun with your machine

Oats naturally contain a protein called avenin, which is similar to the gluten proteins found in wheat, barley, and rye. While avenin is generally considered safe for most people with celiac disease, some individuals, around 5-10% of celiacs, may also have sensitivity to avenin, leading to symptoms similar to gluten exposure. You may fall into this category, and eliminating them is the best way to figure this out. Some people substitute gluten-free quinoa flakes for oats if they want a hot cereal substitute. If you are interested in summaries of scientific publications on the topic of oats and celiac disease, we have an entire category dedicated to it which is here: https://www.celiac.com/celiac-disease/oats-and-celiac-disease-are-they-gluten-free/
