If its not one of these 2 medications I dont know what it would be. I was up all last night until about 2 am running to and from the bathroom with D. It was awful. I havent felt like that, or had that in quite a few months. I didnt really eat anything yesteray, and it felt like gluten was the culprit for me. I also found out that one of the medications they want you to stay away from is hydrocodone when you are taking Pamalor. Well guess what I take? yup Pamalor. And no doctor or Pharmacist noticed. I only noticed b/c I got so sick. Any help?

Both of those drugs can cause a sensitive stomach to go into a tailspin. I've only had oxycodone once and it made me feel SSSOOOOOOOOOOOO sick that I'll never take it again. Hydrocodone used to make me a little nauseous (kind of like being glutened), but it doesn't anymore. It may just be a non-gluten reaction.

Are you thinking the tablet contained wheat starch? Or that the D was a side effect? I double check in my PDR and the Hydrocodone causes (or can cause) N&V but it does not say D. But it will increase the effect of the MAO inhibitors and tricyclic antidepressants (like Pamalor). Did you have vomiting? Or just D? It might have been the combo of the two meds. Many people get upset stomachs with narcotics, so that is not uncommon. Perhaps the Pamalor amplified the effect? I hope you are feeling better! And you should call your pharmacist and ask about the reaction if you will be on the meds for a while.

You said you didn't eat much, but these are some pretty strong drugs. maybe it's taking them without food that is bothering you????? Hope you feel better soon.

Hi everyone  This has been a crazy year so far... How many people actually get entire sensory overload from gluten or something similar ?  My jaw is going nuts ..and that nerve is affecting my upper back and so on ...  Bones even hurt.  Brain fog. Etc  I had eggs seemed fine.   Then my aid cooked a chicken stir fry in the microwave because my food order shorted a couple key items .   I was so hungry but I noticed light breading and some ingredients with SOY !!! Why are we suffering with soy ? This triggered a sensitivity to bananas and gluten-free yogurt it seems like it's a cycle that it goes on.  The tiniest amount of something gets me I'm guessing the tiny bit of breading that I took one tiny nibble of ...yikes ..im cringing from it .. Feels like my stomach is going to explode yet still very hungry 😔  How long does this last?! Thank you so much

This is an older article, but may be helpful.

I have had orthodontic work done. The 3M invisalign material was no problem. BUT my retainers are another matter. They seemed okay for a few months. Now, however, they cause a burning sensation on my tongue, gums and insides of my lips. The burning sensation is now spreading to my throat. I notice it when I breathe. This is annoying and interferes with my enjoyment of eating. I am visiting with my provider tomorrow. We'll see where this goes from here.

Exactly which blood tests were done? There are a few different ones and some docs don't do them all. Also, your results and reference ranges for each?
