Hey Everyone!

I'm looking for a good place or website to order a gluten free birthday cake. I feel like I've seen so many delicious looking gluten free cakes in the past, but now that I actually am getting one I can't find any. Does anyone have any suggestions? I live in the NY area.

Thanks.

Otherwise, just bake your own cake. That's what I do. I made the cutest cake for my great grandma's 100th birthday. It has a big pink daisy ontop and pink polka dots on the sides. It was so much fun to make!!

Open Original Shared Link has the best bread and pound cakes I know of. They also have regular cakes too!

They aren't as expensive as other places either. I LOVE their bread.

How much do you want to spend? For my brother's birthday this past year my family put me in charge of the cake since both him and I are the only ones with celiac. So I figured no problem, I'll call Babycakes and have it delivered to my office. When I heard how much it was (just for the cake I hadn't even mentioned the delivery yet), I decided very quickly I would just make my own cake.

He doesn't like chocolate, so I thought for awhile and then made my own version of Junior's Cheesecake.

For someone that does liike chocolate, I'd say get some Namaste cake mix, a little vanilla frosting - and poof! delicious birthday cake!!

So my suggestion is to maybe make it yourself. Other than Babycakes I'm not sure where to suggest buying one.

I think Mr. Ritt's bakery in Philadelphia will ship you an undecorated cake. You can find them on the web.

Carvel can make a gluten free birthday cake. We have had it many times. Instead of the crunchies that they usually put in the middle, they put crumbled up reeses peanut butter cups. YUM!!!

Hi everyone  This has been a crazy year so far... How many people actually get entire sensory overload from gluten or something similar ?  My jaw is going nuts ..and that nerve is affecting my upper back and so on ...  Bones even hurt.  Brain fog. Etc  I had eggs seemed fine.   Then my aid cooked a chicken stir fry in the microwave because my food order shorted a couple key items .   I was so hungry but I noticed light breading and some ingredients with SOY !!! Why are we suffering with soy ? This triggered a sensitivity to bananas and gluten-free yogurt it seems like it's a cycle that it goes on.  The tiniest amount of something gets me I'm guessing the tiny bit of breading that I took one tiny nibble of ...yikes ..im cringing from it .. Feels like my stomach is going to explode yet still very hungry 😔  How long does this last?! Thank you so much

I have had orthodontic work done. The 3M invisalign material was no problem. BUT my retainers are another matter. They seemed okay for a few months. Now, however, they cause a burning sensation on my tongue, gums and insides of my lips. The burning sensation is now spreading to my throat. I notice it when I breathe. This is annoying and interferes with my enjoyment of eating. I am visiting with my provider tomorrow. We'll see where this goes from here.

Exactly which blood tests were done? There are a few different ones and some docs don't do them all. Also, your results and reference ranges for each?
