Hmmm, I am beginning to wonder if you are sane.

Hey, that whole hamster remark has just made me sad. I really think you are in cahoots with the whole haircoloring industry to make me look bad.

While I am on the subject, did you sleep with spinach last night? I am thinking that is a code name for Arthur.

Welllll, since you had to ask, you goof, the good news is, Ohio State won the football game. Other than that, nothing worth mentioning.

Slippers?!!! You DARE mention that incident?!!! I was glutened. I was not responsible for my actions. I think that is a viable excuse in any court of law. It was late, I was young, spring and the smell of pizza was in the air.

Arthur??? Omg, I know all those Ritis boys and that Arthur is the WORST.

Robbin--OMG  I can't believe that we have OSU in common. Did you go there? Have you been on Daily Strength much lately? Haven't seen you post. asked if you got to the event you wanted to go to?

Judy

Guest Robbin

OMG, YOU ARE SLEEPING WITH ARTHUR RITIS!!! Probably that jerk Ben Gay too, huh?

Ballet? Ballet? You have been watching too many Star Trec re-runs.

Cartemella-my gosh, does that bring back memories..... laughing, walking in the rain, eating perogies, making snowballs, digging for clams, what a great afternoon that was.

Water tower?! It was white until you had the hot idea to paint it blue. I laughed cause your underwear was showing under that leopard skirt as you climbed the ladder.

Hey, stay on topic, you screwball.

What did happen to that hunk on CNN? Aaron Brown? I loved his insight. And his lips.

Guest Robbin

OH, THANK GOD. Someone with some sense.

The fashion industry has failed me miserably. The whole system needs to be revamped. We really, desperately need National Fashioncare. The costs are being driven up by basically, I am ashamed to say, specifically, greed. I know. I am shocked too.

Btw, has anyone ever peed themselves bending over backwards with a hat on, to clean under the fridge with a yard stick to retrieve lost marbles?

God, I hate it when that happens.

Guest Robbin

Omg, you control freak.

Yes, I agree. Mr. Brown-much to admire in the rear compartment.

Lost marbles?!!! How DARE you make light of my fingernail problems.

Hey is there gluten in battery acid? I am worried......

Judyin Philly Enthusiast

You've both lost your marbles...and I'll be danged if i'm going down on my knees to try to pick them up, let alone pee myself with a hat on...you both know the word 'pee' sending me into screaming fits.

Robbin, are you ignoring my OSU question? Not sure how you post so fast. there were 5 posts and only Celia's showed up on my email.

i don't know how to do a 'quick post' and don't you even think about ' going after me..you two bullies. since you seem to have so much time on your hands and 'nothing going on in the brain' maybe you could try to 'mental up' and teach me how to do a quick post so i can keep up

oh just ck'd where did it go????

Omg, I am sorry I didn't see this. That wacko has me so upset. (lol)

Yes, I love OSU!!! My hubby got his Masters there!! What about that quaterback, huh? This is our year.

No, didn't go to the Apple Harvest today, rained. We will be going tomorrow instead.

I will be on Daily Strength maybe tomorrow. Just checked in a little this am. I thought you were going to Cape May? Omg, I love Cape May.

Judyin Philly Enthusiast
Judy..... I think mine showed up because I am the Queen of the Ritis..

And if you think Robbin is fast... you should have seen her that Fall afternoon with Caramella...

I do think however that the "quick post" you are refering to is only on the OMG thread because of so many pages.... but not sure.

Think your right, only on the OMG thread. Probably couldn't figure it out anyway

you should have seen her that Fall afternoon with Caramella... am I susposed to know what in the heck your talking about or have you both reverted in talking in 'tounges'

Robbin the apple harvest sounds like a great day.

we weren't going till monday after chiro apt at 11:00. we'd planned it that way as we had a neighbor with a surprise 80th birthday party. God i thought we were going to lose her right on the spot. She almost fainted. for real :o:huh::blink::o

Both pray i won't spend tomorrow Washing again..;)

Judy

Guest Robbin

Geez, you are a pushy little thing aren't you. Ok, now, what exactly do you need to know about sponges?

I think you may need to learn a little PATIENCE MISSY.

As for the OSU team, they are royalty, no doubt about it.

Hey, what happened to your so-called-earthquake? I think you eat too many onions and drink far, far too much coffee.

That takes nerve, mentioning my love life when yours is the TOPIC here!

Judy, omg, wouldn't that be awful to kill someone with a surprise party?!! I often wondered if that happens.

Washing?! Like grooming?! Check out the link on grooming from last night's madness!!!

Judyin Philly Enthusiast

:D:D:D

Judy, yes, we are lurking. You don't need new glasses. We are just too weird for words.

Those are fighting words right there. Peed on hat. Making fun of me. Stealing my snickers bars. Eating cornflakes. You really take the cake.

Judyin Philly Enthusiast

celia, how did i miss your love life????

so it say one user and one anon....what's up with that???

Guest Robbin

Judy, how long are you going to be in Cape May? Wow, I hope the weather is good for you. That is such a lovely place. Do you stay in a hotel or B & B?

Celia, c'mon confess the whole sordid story. It will make you feel better to tell all. It was her neighbor that runs around in panties, I believe.

Judyin Philly Enthusiast

cake cake ...who's talking cake and me with none in the house.

thought we were talking about celia's love life.

Guest Robbin

Omg, didn't you hear?!! Celia SAYS she baked a cake today. I quite frankly find that a leeetle hard to believe, given that she says she doesn't have a clue about baking.

Omg, you and Arthur, was he kinky with the joint thing? He always did like to get into joints. Arthur Ritis--the baddest of the bad.

Judyin Philly Enthusiast

We have a friend who has a house in West Cape May and he let's us use it for free when he's not there.

I am so sorry you're going through this. It's completely understandable to feel frustrated, stressed, and disregarded after such a long and difficult health journey. It's exhausting to constantly advocate for yourself, especially when you're dealing with so many symptoms and positive diagnoses like SIBO, while still feeling unwell. The fact that you have been diligently following the diet without relief is a clear sign that something else is going on, and your doctors should be investigating other causes or complications, not dismissing your very real suffering.

It is just so sad that health care in the United States has come to this.  Health insurance should be available to everyone, not just the healthy or the rich.  My heart goes out to you.  I would not hesitate to have the test and pay for it myself.  My big concern would be how you could keep the results truly private.  I am sure that ultimately, you could not.  A.I. is getting more and more pervasive, and all data is available somewhere.  I don't know if you could give a fake name, or pay for your test with cash.  I certainly would not disclose any positive results on a private insurance application.  As I understand it, for an official diagnosis, an MD needs to review your labs and make the call.  If you end up in the ER, or some other situation, just request a gluten free diet, and say it is because you feel better when you don't eat gluten.      Hang in there, though.  Medicare is not that far away for you, and it will remove a lot of stress from your health care concerns.  You will even be able to "come out of the closet" about being Celiac!

Yes, I've posted a few times about two companies: Request a Test and Ulta Labs. Also, pretty much we can all request any test we want (with the possible exception of the N protein Covid test and I'm sure a couple of others) with Lab Corp (or Pixel by Lab Corp) and Quest. I much prefer Lab Corp for their professionalism, ease of service and having it together administratively, at least in DC. And just so you know, Request a Test uses Lab Corp and Quest anyway, while Ulta Labs uses only Quest. Ulta Labs is cheaper than Request a Test, but I am tired of dealing with Quest, so I don't use them so much.

PS - I think you meant this site, but I don't believe it has been updated in years: http://glutenfreedrugs.com/ so it is best to use: You can search this site for prescriptions medications, but will need to know the manufacturer/maker if there is more than one, especially if you use a generic version of the medication: To see the ingredients you will need to click on the correct version of the medication and maker in the results, then scroll down to "Ingredients and Appearance" and click it, and then look at "Inactive Ingredients," as any gluten ingredients would likely appear there, rather than in the Active Ingredients area. https://dailymed.nlm.nih.gov/dailymed/

A lot to think about here. Does anyone have any recommendations for third party laboratories that will do full panel celiac screens private pay in the U.S.?
