Their Anniversary Godiva cheesecake uses a flourless chocolate cake as a crust but i would not guarantee that it is gluten free.

Their corporate office told me it was gluten-free, but I think cc is a real issue. I'd go over to the cheesecake case and watch/direct them on how to serve you.

What do you all order for a main course ? I'd love to try the cheesecake factory sometime. I'm just nervous.

When I was there, the manager came to my table and we discussed what I could eat. I ended up having a pan fried salmon (or you could have it cooked on foil on the grill) with asparagus and mashed potatoes. I did not eat dessert ... I don't really have much of a sweet tooth.

This is the e-mail that I recieved from their corporate offices today.

Thank you for your interest in The Cheesecake Factory. Our goal is to provide

our guests

the best information possible.

Although we prepare dishes that we do not add wheat, oats, rye or barley, our

concern is

that some sub-ingredients may contain trace amounts of gluten. In addition, we

do not

have separate cooking equipment to prepare flour and no-flour based items.

We understand that sensitivities can vary. Our managers will be happy to help

you select

dishes that we do not add wheat, oats, rye or barley however, because your

health is our

primary concern, we recommend non-marinated vegetables, chicken, steak, shrimp

or

fish pan cooked as opposed to grilled.

The only cheesecake that does not contain wheat flour is our Godiva Cheesecake,

however, the pan release product we use on the pan does contain flour.

We appreciate you thinking of The Cheesecake Factory and hope that you will be

able to

join us for a wonderful meal.

Sincerely,

Keri Walsh

So I guess the Godiva Cheesecake is out <_<

Ahh, they must be learning more each day about celiac. Months ago when I wrote them, they said it was fine! I never had it, however. If I'm having dessert it's going to be creme brulee, except that with my casein intolerance both cheesecake and creme brulee are out. That's okay, I'd rather a good bag of Natural Ruffles anyway.

Wow good to know, thanks. I had also been told that the Godiva Cheesecake was ok and a few times thought about running in to grab a piece to go but never did. Now I'm so glad I didn't. Good to know.

Dang, I love that place. Wish they were more gluten-free friendly. However, if you're really craving cheesecake, Jax Peters Lowell has a KILLER recipe that I am SOOOOOOO in love with! I'll have to post it in the recipe section, or check to see if anyone else has! TOtally satisfied my sweet tooth!!!

Hi does anyone know if the Chessecake factory uses a dedicated fryer for their fries?? I love fries and its soo hard going to restaurants b/c sometimes you want to have an occasional frie and they don't use a dedicate fryer. If anyone could tell me I would greatly appreciate it:)

Does anyone know about their shepherd's pie. I was told in the past that it was gluten free and did not get sick from it, but the last time that I went they said that it contained flour rather than corn starch, so it is not gluten free. I was wondering if anyone knows if they changed their recipe because this used to be a favorite of mine.

My husband and I are going out on a "date" tomorrow night, for the first time in a very LONG time.

We'd love to go out to dinner - ya know... no kids, conversation, good food! However, naturally... I'm terrified to eat out.

I've looked at CF's menu, and it looks like there could potentially be some items that would be gluten free.... but are they? I'm just wondering if anyone has ever had a good experience there, or is that someplace that you'd avoid like the plague??

I went there once when I was first diagnosed and although I had a good meal and didn't get sick I'm a bit to afraid to go there now that I know how easily things can have cross contamination. That place is always crazy busy and I just think the chance to get sick is way to high.

Thank you that’s really helpful, hopeful won’t have to have a biopsy.

That means the normal range (i.e. not celiac disease) would be a result less than 14.99.  Your result is WAY above that. Some gastroenterologists would diagnose that as celiac disease even without a confirming biopsy because it is more than ten times the top of the normal range.

Hi everyone. Back in 2022 I had blood work drawn for iga ext gliadin. Since then I’ve developed worse stomach issues and all other health issues. My doctor just said cut out gluten. He did no further testing. Please see my test results attached. I just need some direction cause I feel so ill and the stomach pain is becoming worse. Can this test show indications for other gastrointestinal diseases?

Thank you. These were the results TTG ABS NUMERICAL: > 250.0 U/mL [< 14.99]  Really don’t understand the results!

Clearly from what you've said the info on Dailymed is much more up to date than the other site, which hasn't been updated since 2017. The fact that some companies might be repackaging drugs does not mean the info on the ingredients is not correct.
