I know I used to get a soy cream cheese that was quite good--I think it was called "Better than Cream Cheese?" Made by Soy Delicious?

Hey Metta -- help her out here!!!!!

I am not an expert on dairy. I do use a hard cheddar goat cheese for grilled sandswiches, etc. I think it was Tarnelberry (quite awhile ago) who said that hard cheddar goat cheese has no casein in it. I am allergic to the casein. I do sometimes use a soft qoat cheese in place of cream cheese. I still watch how often I use that as I think that has casein in it. I am not sure and am being cautious as I don't want the reactions I had years ago. I had my Wild Oats order me the hard cheddar goat cheese and I buy a lot when I go there. I use it in place of all cheeses in recipes.

Better than Cream Cheese is a tofutti product. Don't know whether it is gluten free or not. I actually had a recipe for pumpkin roll that used that along with (I think) tofu mates vanilla pudding mix, pecans, fructose. I just sold that cookbook and would have to see if it is posted online on the gals website or not.

Hey Karen, I see you . . . . how long does it take for cake mixes to get to the states?????:lol::lol::P:lol::D

I sent them the cheap/slow route - by nine days. Figured I would let you sweat it out and drool a bit..... :D;)

I think I have your neighbour issue figured out! I figure you have two options here:

1) PM Rusla and get her to conjure up a "Make a Neighbour from Hell Disappear" spell......

or

2) Make a voodoo doll of your neighbour and then punish the bejeebers out of her! Think of all the options you would have and the sheer enjoyment it would bring. Think pins, matches, dropping from roof, etc. etc......

:P:lol:;)

Hugs.

Forget Rusla doing this. She only does the good Goddess things as the bad can come back to haunt her.

I am all for a Voodoo doll. At least Lynne could take her frustrations out on it, if nothing else. But, I think with a Voodoo doll you need nail clippings and hair from her neighbor. Would a dead flea and a piece of her gargage work instead?

Yikes!!! I don't mess around with that VooDoo stuff . . . too dangerous. I DO have two VooDoo dolls that my parents brought me back from New Orleans, and VooDoo beads that a friend brought back . . . (yes, she flashed for them . . . WHILE she was with her parents . . . . EWWWWWW), but once I met a lady who actually PRACTICED VooDoo. She scared the holy crap out of me.

I could conjure up some intent toward my next door neighbor that all the ill will that she puts out into the world comes back to her . . . . . Hmmmmmm......

She's rallying her troops . . . saw her going neighbor to neighbor today . . . and heard her talking (loudly -- because I could hear it from across the street -- I wasn't just eavesdropping -- which, by the way, isn't illegal and most of the time not even WRONG :P ) about the trash cans!!! What a rotten neighbor she is . . . .

Didn't really care because it was my daily trip to the mailbox, and I haven't had a blood pressure that registered today, so it's kind of like -- "Lady, I have a heck of a lot more important things to deal with than you." If she was as "disabled" as she claims to be, I don't think she'd have quite the energy that she does to create such trouble throughout the neighborhood.

I AM already sweating it out! Started eating yesterday -- had lunch AND dinner!! Also had both meals today! And gluten-free cereal for a snack tonight!! Getting my stomach stretched back out so I can have room for CAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was diagnosed with microscopic colitis and celiac a couple of years ago.  The GI doctor prescribed a course of budesonide, which moderately helped until I tapered off.    After a lot of ups and downs over the course of 2 years, I am finally in microscopic colitis remission.  Since I am also diabetic, I was started on metformin and Jardiance.  Metformin by itself helped moderately.  I added Jardiance and I was much better.  I stopped the metformin and relapsed and when I added it back, I regained remission.  I think metformin and Jardiance helped my colitis because they reduce inflammation in the gut.  Metformin is known to favorably modulate the gut microbiome and reduce inflammatory cytokines.  Similarly, emerging evidence supports the anti-inflammatory properties of SGLT2 inhibitors like Jardiance.  Once I was on both, the diarrhea stopped completely, even though nothing else ever worked long-term.  There is a Facebook group that can be very informative and helpful.  Look for "Microscopic Colitis and Lymphocytic Colitis Support Group.  You will find that members of the Facebook group identify other pathways to remission of microscopic colitis.

Hello, @Mrs Wolfe, I crushed three vertebrae moving a chest of drawers.  I take a combination of Thiamine Vitamin B1, Vitamin B12, and Pyridoxine B6.  Together these vitamins have an analgesic effect.  I think it works better than OTC pain relievers.   I also like  "Takeda ALINAMIN EX Plus Vitamin B1 B6 B12 Health Supplementary from Japan 120 Tablets" .   It's all three vitamins together in one pill.  Works wonderfully!

It's the Potassium Iodide in the HRT pills that is triggering Dermatitis Herpetiformis and the increased IGG levels.   The thyroid is stimulated by the Potassium Iodide, which stimulates immune cells to make more IGG antibodies.   Thiamine Vitamin B1 helps the thyroid function.  I like Benfotiamine and TTFD Thiamax.
