I do not use the george foreman grill but I have seen them at my kids house, I think they are non stick porous stuff, IMO you are getting cross contaminated from it. washing will not get rid of all the gluten.

Also, I do not think zucchini are the things to eat on an upset tummy, sorry, guess you now know ;)

Like someone said go back to the basic safe foods for yourself. Also, like someone said soup is better, I would have been boiling that chicken for soup & just adding a couple vegetable things like cabbaage, carrots, or green beans or which ever veggies you do best with. Then if you are feeling like it - you can serve yourself some of that soup over rice. Freeze in portions in the freezer. I always keep some meals frozen in the freezer because I live alone & if I get sick there is no one to cook or go to the store for me.

& the next time the doctors pull that trash about they can only order certain tests etc, you tell them "I want that test run - just add it to the portion of the bill that I am paying for, The insurance company can dictate to you, but not to ME, the patient that is risking my life because of their money saving measures".

Hope you are better soon. Note: smart RN - they usually know more than the docs :D

I am just breathing rdeep...taking things slow...and trying not to let the sick feelings overwhelm me....

I kind of sense...when I have a sick feeling coming on and I try to use mind over matter....because otherwise it tips you over the edge and I think you can panic....who knows.

Gotta go get my vitamins.

Thanks rmj when I first rang up it was we can't do it without , but I talked to a lovely lady and she sorted it all out for me, so it pays to be persistent , I would have had to decline if I hadn't been given the water option too , so yes I'm glad too 😌

I’m so glad they listened to your concerns!  I hope you get some answers from the MRI.

Had my MRI today I didn't have to have the manitol with my allergy's , I just had a litre of water , they were great with my concerns , so let's see if anything comes of if will keep posted once I have results 👍

Thank you ,it’s been a long road for me for having both now ,what upsets the most is that if they discovered that I also have cealiac earlier I would not have injested gluten if I was aware. Double whammy.
