Sillies I could have used you guys this afternoon. I was at Walmart and the people were so annoying and crowded.No parking....crying kids, angry parents....blah blah...

I was secret santa shopping for my coworker.....everything she asked for (we ask for 3 things) was not in the store....so I think I am just going to do a Kohl's gift card.

Anywho - twister in the basement (with nips of alcoholic beverages for Mummy's + Daddy's) sounds like good fun

I've changed my avatar to a picture taken at 3:45 this afternoon of our back deck, seen through the sliding patio door. Thank goodness we filled the bird feeder last night. The bird bath is electrically heated so it does not freeze.

Just never been a fan of the pop-in. Sounds nice, in theory, but I like to be prepared. Must be all the years of having unpredictible (nice way to put it) bathroom habits.

Question, does anyone know a good small dog breed that are good with kids?

YES!! He's read...what....about six of Robert's books now.....two series, I believe. He's waiting for two more to be returned to the library. . . . . .

Speaking of coldness, I keep, forgeting to tell you guys the exciting news going on: My SIL is running the Yukon Quest as we speak. One of the two huge, international dogsled races held each year up north. Very few women have ever entered, and last year she came in eighth. Took her fifteen days, driving up mountains and across frozen lakes, -40, utter darkness....craziness. But I really admire her; she's quite a woman. She's been out two days, and right now she's in 7th. Exciting! Here's the link:
