has anyone had all three gluten-free beers: Ramapo Valley, Bards and New Grist? I was thrilled to find out a local beer distributor stocks all 3! In fact, it is about 1.5 mile from the Gluten Free Bread Basket in Chester, NY.I have been drinking RV since it came out and like it. Just wondering if any one prefers one brand over the other.

I've JUST tasted the Bards... first beer in 4 years!! It was delicious! I've read that one of the others is better tasting, but don't know which one. I'm thrilled to find the Bards... altho at $46/case... it'll have to be only an occasional treat!

I had the Rampo Valley and the Bard's. Bard's is awesome...more bitter. The Rampo one is more of a sweet honey beer.

My vote is for the Bards as well but I've heard the New Grist is pretty good too. If you like the heavier taste of an import (I would compare Bards to Bass ale) you will like it too! I haven't had a beer for so long. I rarely drink as it is and was tired of carrying in the hard stuff everytime we went to a get-together....it was everything I had hoped for and more!!!

I live in Michigan and I have tried the three beers you have in question. New Grist was the only brand available here when I was first diagnosed in June06 so I had a steady diet of that over the summer. To me it's a bit sweeter than reguar beer and on the lighter side. Then, a local specialty store started carrying RV so I tried it. I was not a fan of RV. I only bought a 6 pack and I still have one left (after cooking with a bottle to try to get rid of it). I was in Ohio a couple of weeks ago and bought some Bard's. I loved it! It's an amber beer with a fuller body than New Grist. So, if I had to rank them according to my taste I would start with Bard's, then New Grist, and then RV (but I would have a cocktail or glass of wine before going for the RV).

There's 4 beers - La Messangre is made in Canada and I've only had it and Bard's but the canadian beer is way better,in my opinion, my inlaws get it for me since they visit family there pretty frequently.

But M&M's contain milk, and would not be at all like a Tootsie Roll.

I appreciate you validating me because medical is an issue and it's not ok at all they they do this. Some days I just want to call the news media and just call out these doctors especially when they are supposed to be specialist Downplaying when gluten-free when they should know gluten-free is false negative. Now dealing with other issues and still crickets for disability because I show no signs of celiac BECAUSE IM GLUTENFREE! Actively dealing with sibo and skin issues.Depression is the key because thats all they know, im depressed because medical has caused it because of my celiac and related issues. I should have never ever been employed as a bus driver. After 3 years still healing and ZERO income desperately trying to get better but no careteam for celiac other than stay away frim wheat! Now im having care because my head is affected either ms or meningioma in go in tomorrow again for more scans.I know im slowly dying and im looking like a disability chaser

M&M Peanuts. About the same calories and sugar while M&M Peanuts have fiber, potassium, iron and protein that Tootsie Rolls ("We are currently producing more than 50 million Tootsie Rolls each day.") don't. Click the links to compare nutritional values.  Both are made with sugar, not high fructose corn syrup.  I use them as a gluten free substitute for a peanut butter sandwich.  Try her on grass fed, pasture fed milk. While I get heartburn at night from commercial dairy milk, I do not from 'grassmilk'.

I see it everyday on my feeds.  They go out and buy gluten-free processed products and wonder why they can't heal their guts.  I don't think they take it as a serious immune disease. They pick up things off the internet which is so far out in left field.  Some days I would just like to scream.  So much better when we had support groups and being able to teach them properly. I just had an EMA blood test because I haven't had one since my Doctor moved away.  Got test results today, doctor ordered a D3 vitamin test.  Now you know what  type of doctors we have.  Now I will have to pay for this test because she just tested my D3 end of December, and still have no idea about my EMA.
