Tickets went on sale this morning at 10 am, I got on the website at 10:02 am, and got myself 1 ticket (GOOD seats--go Open Original Shared Link---I got Section N, row 3, seat 8!!! :D ).

Anyways, I was supposed to get some tickets for a couple other pals, and either lots of people had reserves, or they really did sell out in about 25 minutes!!! So i guess I'm blessed I was able to get one, just curious if anyone here is going or knows anyone else whos going??? Because this means I have to go alone haha.

I live in Calgary and can't even afford to go to a game here. It's ridiculous! We were watching Flames vs. Ducks last night and they ran a promo: 4 tickets, 4 Pepsis, 4 hot dogs for $46. :o You couldn't even buy 2 hot dogs and pops at the Saddledome for that price. Okay, I'm exaggerating, but you would never get 4 seats in the nosebleeds for that price even. We tried to get three other people in on a set of season tickets so each person would get 10 pairs of tickets, and we could only find two other people so it wasn't affordable.

Have fun! It'll be a blast. Only 9 months to go. ;)

the ticket i got cost $50.25 (with tax or whatever). And since i dont drive i didnt have to worry about paying the extra $5 for parking, and i chose to have it shipped by regular mail, so i didnt have to pay anything extra for shipping either! the higher sections were $17 a ticket. i've never been to an NHL game before, so i dont care how much it would have cost or that its just pre-season in a city that dont even have an NHL team, it's going to kick...butt . And yes, I WILL be counting down!!!

Sorry, i'm a Carolina Hurricanes fan...have been for years (I didn't hop on the wagon like so many others did after our Stanley Cup victory last season)!

Despite the team you pull for it's GREAT to see you guys love hockey too! :D

AWESOME!!! I hear ya on lovin hockey...I lived in Raleigh (up until this past April - sniff, sniff) and had a season ticket package thingy so I was always at the arena. I'll never forget the year of the lock-out...I was so lost without my hockey social life. HAHA!

I have been in serious withdrawl since having to move, but between FSN and NHL Center Ice we get to see most games on tv which is better than nothing. And of course we make it back to as many games as we can.

Have fun at the game!!!

Wow! You're pretty young to have a diagnosis of SMA syndrome. But youth also has its advantages when it comes to healing, without a doubt. You might be surprised to find out how your health improves and how much better you feel once you eliminate gluten from your diet. Celiac disease is an autoimmune disorder that, when gluten is consumed, triggers an attack on the villous lining of the small bowel. This is the section of the intestines where all our nutrition is absorbed. It is made up of billions of tiny finger-like projections that create a tremendous surface area for absorbing nutrients. For the person with celiac disease, unchecked gluten consumption generates inflammation that wears down these fingers and, over time, greatly reduces the nutrient absorbing efficiency of the small bowel lining. This can generate a whole host of other nutrient deficiency related medical problems. We also now know that the autoimmune reaction to gluten is not necessarily limited to the lining of the small bowel such that celiac disease can damage other body systems and organs such as the liver and the joints and cause neurological problems.  It can take around two years for the villous lining to completely heal but most people start feeling better well before then. It's also important to realize that celiac disease can cause intolerance to some other foods whose protein structures are similar to gluten. Chief among them are dairy and oats but also eggs, corn and soy. Just keep that in mind.

I was just diagnosed at 26 after accidental finding. Any simple tips for newbies? Things a non celiac would never think of? I already went through my prescriptions and identified some medications that have gluten. Is there a beginners guide? Celiac for dummies?

Would it be rude to ask your age?

Wow! Thank you @trents I  really appreciate the responses. This line of diagnosis has me questioning a lot of symptoms over the course of my life. Very validating and very much a bummer at the same time.
