Bbq Chicken - Can You Just Avoid The Stuffing?

My dietician said i could get BBQ chicken and avoid the skin (in case of Gluten bastings) and the stuffing sections (and bits touching the stuffing) and that would be fine but i still got a stomach ache, dioreah etc after eating it as suggested by the dietician.

Was my dietician wrong or did something else gluten me?

I am absolutely horrified by the advice your dietician has given to you, and I would find a new dietician immediately.

Long rant made short, you cannot 'eat around' gluten. Avoiding gluten means more than just picking the bun off your hamburger, or the croutons off your salad. It means the bun cannot touch the hamburger, and the croutons cannot be on or near the salad in any fashion.

I saw a dietician when I was first diagnosed and was shocked at how little she knew. Therefore, this board has become my dietician, of sorts. I encourage you to ask any and all your questions here, because the odds are that someone here on this board has dealt with the situation already and would be happy to help.

Terrible, terrible advice. Run VERY far away from this person.

Your response on this matter is what I expect. You’ve had a similar episode years ago, but this one is lasting longer!

I'd like to clarify: Is the pain you describe in the area just below your chest constant, or does it only appear when you start moving?
