I've collected a couple of recipes for gluten-free noodles, but I haven't tried any of them yet. I wish for some suggestions from experienced gluten-free-noodle-makers before I make my first attempt.

Also, I would like to know which, if any, of the automatic pasta-making machines (dump in raw ingredients and turn it on) will work with the gluten-free recipes.

Hi, My husband makes home made noodles by hand as our noodle machine has been contaminated with wheat flour. Impossible to clean totally. He just puts an egg, salt and gluten-free flour into our small food processor with a little butter and whirrs until blended. Too dry..add touch of water...too moist..add gluten-free flour. You want firm dough. (We use xanthan gum in our flour mixture) He rolls the dough out very thin and slices thru length way about 2inch wide strips. puts lots of flour on top and piles them on top of each other. Slices thru again into thirds. Then slices thru the piles gently with lots of flour to keep them from sticking to each other. Lay out to dry. Puts them into simmering chicken soup and cooks until tender. Don't worry about flour that sticks to them. Have made them with and without butter (or oil) Which ever you prefer. Good luck, Jean

Hi everyone...does anyone have a good recipe for making pasta for homemade ravioli (or perogies, or potstickers or whatever your ethnic group calls them). I bought some great gluten-free cheese ravioli, but costs $13 for a 2-serving bag, and I can't justify that on a regular basis...it's way overpriced.

I tried Bette Hageman's pasta recipe, and even bought a pasta roller/cutter...but I was underwhelmed with the results - could just be that I've never attempted pasta before, and I need to keep at it...

I'd appreciate any ideas...

Yes, please someone please tell if you know about pasta making...my husband misses manicotti.

      Thank you that’s really helpful, hopeful won’t have to have a biopsy.

      That means the normal range (i.e. not celiac disease) would be a result less than 14.99.  Your result is WAY above that. Some gastroenterologists would diagnose that as celiac disease even without a confirming biopsy because it is more than ten times the top of the normal range.

      Hi everyone. Back in 2022 I had blood work drawn for iga ext gliadin. Since then I’ve developed worse stomach issues and all other health issues. My doctor just said cut out gluten. He did no further testing. Please see my test results attached. I just need some direction cause I feel so ill and the stomach pain is becoming worse. Can this test show indications for other gastrointestinal diseases?

      Clearly from what you've said the info on Dailymed is much more up to date than the other site, which hasn't been updated since 2017. The fact that some companies might be repackaging drugs does not mean the info on the ingredients is not correct.
