Hi,

Have now been confirmed with Athma from the spirometry testing.

IGE serum test was high, so I guess we are going into skin testing next. Will see the new allergy dr. for the second time soon - to discuss management of both.

At least I know I am not imagining things when it is backed by objective testing!

Major D and tummy pain today. Don't know what it's from - but then I do eat out quite a bit so cc is possible.

Don't you hate it when your friends (who know very well about this gluten thing) offer you forbidden foods. My good friend offered me pizza last night, smiling all the while and munching away. I smiled back and said "Sure, if you want to look after me for the next few days, and listen to my graphic descriptions of hours spent in the toilet". That shut him up! He was just teasing... but somehow my sense of humor has deserted me at the moment... Don't have enough energy to be funny! It is hard enough just doing what I have to get done. Sorry, that's my grumble for today.

      That means the normal range (i.e. not celiac disease) would be a result less than 14.99.  Your result is WAY above that. Some gastroenterologists would diagnose that as celiac disease even without a confirming biopsy because it is more than ten times the top of the normal range.

      Hi everyone. Back in 2022 I had blood work drawn for iga ext gliadin. Since then I’ve developed worse stomach issues and all other health issues. My doctor just said cut out gluten. He did no further testing. Please see my test results attached. I just need some direction cause I feel so ill and the stomach pain is becoming worse. Can this test show indications for other gastrointestinal diseases?

      Thank you. These were the results TTG ABS NUMERICAL: > 250.0 U/mL [< 14.99]  Really don’t understand the results!

      Does Dailymed.nlm.nih.gov site have filters for gluten?

      Clearly from what you've said the info on Dailymed is much more up to date than the other site, which hasn't been updated since 2017. The fact that some companies might be repackaging drugs does not mean the info on the ingredients is not correct.
