I Finally Tried It!

I went to a gluten free pizza party last nite! OMG.. . pizza was fantastic. all kinds.. all toppings.. it was unreal. The appetizers alone were enough to make you cry.. so much food and all safe! Only the people who have been part of the celiacs group I am in now, ones that have been there for years were allowed to bring food.. even though I have been gluten free, I was only allowed to bring drinks, as they arent as sure of my understanding of cross contaimination and such, which was understandable and no problem to me...

there were buffalo wings, bacon wrapped dates (which i have seen on here and now i know for sure they are unreal!!!) all kinds of salads, hummus, spinach dip, tortilla chips.. then came the pizzas

but the reason for my thread... I finally tried the Woodchuck Ciders... OMG! I am in love. I no longer miss beer, I dont care, this stuff is awesome!! I had pear and apple flavors last nite.. I had to buy my own 6 pack today of apple and had a few myself today while moving furniture around. It was so "normal" to have a ice cold bottle in my hand and enjoying what I was drinking. The ONLY downside is I waited so long to try it! but now i know....

It was great Rachel. We also have a BBQ every summer! We are currenly researching a place to have it at. Too many people show up to have it at my celiac groups leaders house! We are all going to the Bonefish Grill next month and last year and every year we have a huge fund raising dinner at a Portugese restaurant! All safe eating!!! Its pure bliss!!! I would love to have that everyday.. totally safe eating.. no matter what.. no cross contamination! ahhhh.. reliving it now!

From their website I see "organic barley leaf powder" as an ingredient. Keep in mind that the gluten is in the kernel, and not in the leaves. https://drinkag1.com/about-ag1/ingredients/ctr

Before the rise of social media we were well known by a lot of doctors and were recommended by many, especially our Safe & Forbidden Lists, but as doctors get younger and younger this is probably not happening as much as before.

Thanks Scott I will definitely check my vitamins and minerals to see what I am missing so then I can supplement. I was very concern about my Meniers syntoms and i tryed to find some alive. Now im just realizing that my celiac is provably the root cause of my Meniers none of the 12 doctors I saw told me anything about this.  This web site is so helpful, thanks to people like you we can get answers.

Vitamin D deficiency can contribute to rib pain. Chest pain stemming from the ribs ccould be costochondritis, which involves inflammation of the cartilage connecting the ribs to the breastbone. This pain can range from mild to severe, potentially mimicking heart attack symptoms, and is often worsened by breathing or movement. Other potential causes include muscle strain, rib fractures, or even referred pain from other conditions.  It will also help to chose vegetables low in omega 6.
