Has Anyone Tried The Ener-g Tapioca Dinner Rolls?

My parents have been calling me the last couple days to tell me about the gluten-free meals they have had a Disneyworld and how good they are. One place brought them rolls and according to my dad they were so good they asked for the package to see if they could find them to buy. All they told me was they were Ener-g brand so I looked on the website and the tapioca rolls were all I see.

The nice thing is if we find really good products the lady at the health food store I go to wants to know what they are so they can order them because they have had so many people asking for gluten free foods lately!

So, does anyone know if the rolls are really that good?

OMgoodness!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I sell them in my store so I try to taste everything before I sell it so I can give an honest opinion. I took a bag home, took one out and nuked it for about 20 seconds, when I took it out I smelled it and I actually started to cry. I had not had a dinner roll for 9 months and it smelled and tasted wonderful. I put a little butter and honey on it and ended up eating three. Several of my customers have come back for more. I did have one person who thought they were a little grainy but she hadn't nuked it first. I know we all have differing tastes but I love them.

I have not tried the tapioca rolls but I did just try Whole Foods bakery dinner rolls that were gluten-free and they were sooo good!!!! I haven't had a roll in over a year.

My daughter isn't thrilled with them. I've bought them twice for holiday dinners at the request of my mom. I think it would have been easier if we'd just skipped all the rolls but since others insisted on rolls, it is hard for my daughter to sit and watch them eat rolls with none for her. Both times she merely picked at a roll, eating little more than a few nibbles. But on the way home she asked for a roll to eat in the car and she did eat it. Both times the rest of the package got thrown away after having sat until the rolls spoiled. She just didn't want any more. I should add that she has additional food allergies and can not have any butter or margarine. That might make a difference.

I have tried the rolls and like them very much. They are small but very nice to just pull out of the freezer when you want one or two. I'm not such a great baker so they great for me.

"Conclusions: The urinary iodine level was significantly lower in women with postmenopausal osteoporosis, and iodine replacement may be important in preventing osteoporosis"  Body iodine status in women with postmenopausal osteoporosis Low iodine can cause thyroid problems, but Iodine deficiency will not show up in thyroid tests.  Iodine is important for healing, its job is to kill off defective and aging cells (Apoptosis). Skin, brain fog, nails, muscle tone all inproved when I started taking 600 mcg (RDA 150 - 1000 mcg) of Liquid Iodine drops. Some with dermatitis herpetiformis, Iodine exacerbates the rash.  I started at 1 drop (50 mcg) and worked up to 12 drops, but I don't have dermatitis herpetiformis.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience and I found myself giggling with happiness as I read how your body reached such spring! And I hope that your current journey is also successful!! Definitely starting the food diary! So many amazing advices. And it’s very scary. It really hits all our soft spots as well as our confidence system. Most doctors I went thought I was underage despite being in my late 20s. Right now I look like am I twelve, but is also this body that’s taking so much, so I might as well love it too! Going to make the necessary changes and stay in this path. Thank you again! 🫶

Thank you so much for the information and kind message! Reading this transformed how I’ve been viewing my efforts and progress. Guess there’s still a lot to celebrate and also heal 😌  Yes, I’ve been taking it! Just recently started taking a multivitamin supplement and separated vitamin D! I also took chewable Iron polymaltose for ferritin deficiency 2 months ago but was unable to absorb any of it.  Thank you again! Hearing such gentle words from the community makes my body and heart more patient and excited for the future.
