gluten-free Brownie Dessert At Bonefish Grill!

Went to the Bonefish Grill in the Seattle area over the weekend for my anniversary and pleased to find they had a gluten free menu. Even more excited when our waitress told us they had just switched their brownie recipe over to gluten-free. I wasn't going to have dessert but when she told me about it I had to try it. My husband (not gluten-free) and I shared it. It was HUGE and amazing. They served it with whipped cream, vanilla ice cream and a raspberry sauce. My husband who is a self proclaimed brownie expert loved it too and said he never would have known it was gluten-free. I asked the waitress if all the locations were switching over and she said she thought she had heard they were.

That sounds great! I probably will never be able to try it though because I'd have to NOT get the creme brulee, which is also gluten-free! Maybe I could do the brownie for dinner and the creme brulee for dessert ... who needs fish anyway! :P

Sounds like a plan to me. I love desserts anyways, so why not make a meal of them.

I live In Murfreesboro, TN and ate one of those brownies at Bonefish tonight because the manager said they were now gluten free. Hope he knows what he is talking about because I ate one. I sure don't want to get sick from it. The brownie was very good.

GliadinX is such a product and many/some report it really helps. In the interest of disclosure, the company that produces it is one of our sponsors.

Occasionally eating out in restaurants means that there is potential cross contamination in spite of ordering a gluten free dish. What enzyme supplements can the forum recommend that would help with potential cross contamination? Something I could take before I start eating. I used to order Wheat Rescue from Microbiome lab, but it is not available anymore.

Hi  - Anyone have any experience with these? I bought them at Costco thinking they must be gluten-free, but now I see Natural Flavors and Spice in the ingredients. There's no Gluten Free labeling. However the Costco site and two other sites say it's gluten free. Anyone know?

Yes, I doubt you can find a perfectly safe restaurant--perhaps a dedicated gluten-free restaurant, but in general, very few of them exist, and they tend to be in larger cities. Super sensitive celiacs should probably just avoid eating out.
