I usually just do a member search - up at the top of the page there's a little link that says members.

Search for admin.

Click on the name. Then that will give you a drop-down box. Third one down should say Send Message.

There ya go!

I don't think so. You might want to ask Scott about that though Paula. I'd hate to see you dropped back down to 0. Happygirl and Momma Goose both used to have different names, so they'd be able to tell you.
