We ended up buying one of those that comes with 3 phones and 3 bases, but only one needs to run into the phone jack. I believe it is a vetech phone. We have had it for months now and love it. Plus with 3 phones, as long as you hang them up, you never will have a dead phone.

We have a Uniden phone ~ it has a phone/answering machine plugged into the wall and then a cordless base. We've had a few years and have had no troubles or complaints with it.

Mine's a Vtech w/ 2 handsets, ans mach, and it's great.

There's a great site which lists what's on sale for all the stores in a particular state.

Not sure what state you're in but for Calif the url is:

www.salescircular.com/ca.shtml

For Arizona it's www.salescircular.com/az.shtml

So just put in your state's abbrev and scroll to Phones.

All I did was see what's on sale then search that model & "reviews" to make sure no1 had horrible things to say about it, since I think the technology is mature enough that just about any company CAN make a good one.

I had bad luck with Uniden, but I know others have not. I love my Panasonic.

I loved the Panasonic set we had at the office -- it was great. We have a vtech that I bought about 8 months ago -- with the three handsets -- and two out of the three already have batteries that have burned out. We're actually good "battery people", too  Seriously, we do all the right things -- even though with the NiMH batteries they aren't supposed to have memory problems. Who knows . . . if 100 people buy them and ONE is going to go sour -- guess who it will be???!!! <_<

I purchased Panasonic however this happened: I callled home from work and my husband couldn't hear me...only when I called from work phone...when I called home from my cell it was Ok. I brought the Panasonic back.

Now I bought a Radio Shack and it is like two tin cans and a string! Very tin sounding and muffled. I have to return it too.

BTW, we've done other articles on this topic that I wanted to share here (not to condone smoking!):

Hi everyone  This has been a crazy year so far... How many people actually get entire sensory overload from gluten or something similar ?  My jaw is going nuts ..and that nerve is affecting my upper back and so on ...  Bones even hurt.  Brain fog. Etc  I had eggs seemed fine.   Then my aid cooked a chicken stir fry in the microwave because my food order shorted a couple key items .   I was so hungry but I noticed light breading and some ingredients with SOY !!! Why are we suffering with soy ? This triggered a sensitivity to bananas and gluten-free yogurt it seems like it's a cycle that it goes on.  The tiniest amount of something gets me I'm guessing the tiny bit of breading that I took one tiny nibble of ...yikes ..im cringing from it .. Feels like my stomach is going to explode yet still very hungry 😔  How long does this last?! Thank you so much

This is an older article, but may be helpful.

I have had orthodontic work done. The 3M invisalign material was no problem. BUT my retainers are another matter. They seemed okay for a few months. Now, however, they cause a burning sensation on my tongue, gums and insides of my lips. The burning sensation is now spreading to my throat. I notice it when I breathe. This is annoying and interferes with my enjoyment of eating. I am visiting with my provider tomorrow. We'll see where this goes from here.

Exactly which blood tests were done? There are a few different ones and some docs don't do them all. Also, your results and reference ranges for each?
