I'm Overly Depressed

I am overly depressed. It's not the first time I have been this way, but it seems worse that ever now and I am at the end of my rope and out of patience with this!!! I have been put on more meds/ antidepressants but I see no improvement. This just plain stinks!!!!

I know what you mean. I have those days I just feel like I'm in a rut and it gets very depressing. I am actually having one of those days. Just wanted to let you know that you are not alone and I hope you feel better. :)

Walter, hows' the diet going? Are you seeing any progress?

Can you get out in the sun for a few minutes every day? It's great for the immune system.

Are you eating healthy, in addition to gluten-free?

Are you getting out with people?

I know much of our depression is physical, but if it's not being taken care of by anti-depressants, you need to be sure you're supporting yourself in as positive a manner as you can ... rebuild your health.

I agree with all of what CarlaB asked and said. It can be confusing with the insurance world and I do remember a time not that long ago when I felt like I was on death's door, very depressed and practically begging my PHCP to give me the testing that I felt that I needed. My mom taught me a very good lesson: You are your PHCP, everyone else is a secondary health-care provider. If you are doing the best of your ability to rebuild your health and I think you are, then it's time to storm down some medical doors, even with your last...

School is out and you most likely have some time on your hands. What are you hobbies, what do you do in the summer times?

Sometimes it's hard to dig yourself out of a hole, and I know I have been there. When I was in my early 20's, I lost both my parents. I lived near Washington DC. I worked on Capitol Hill, and did not give a $hit about anything. I was alone. I wallowed a bit....but then got tired of it.

You may have some chemical issues and that should be addresses. The mental issues, you have to look toward tomorrow. There is a world out there! You have alot of friends (birthday party)!

Look forward to what's next. :)

      Thiamine interacts with all the other B vitamins.  Thiamine and B 6 make a very important enzyme together. With more thiamine and other vitamins available from the supplements your body is absorbing the ones you need more of.  The body can control which vitamins to absorb or not.  You're absorbing more and it's being transported through the blood.   It's common to have both a Thiamine and a Pyridoxine deficiency.  Keep taking the B Complex. This is why it's best to stop taking supplements for six to eight weeks before testing vitamin levels.

      Yes I took a supplement that had B6 in it, low dosage though. I've stopped taking that. B1 doesn't affect other B vitamin levels?

      Have you tried lip balm made from tallow?  It's been used for thousands of years and works better than those with waxes. I prefer Vintage Traditions brand tallow balm products.
